One of half a dozen or more calls I receive a day.  Left no message.  Not the same number as the Indian/[***] man who called me a "f***ing idiot" this morning because I chose to answer my phone rather than wait for it to go to voicemail.  Oh how I miss the old days, when you could answer your phone and not be harassed.  Yes, I'm that old!

FMR is a research company.  Surveys are exempt under DNC.

Having an Unlisted number only means your number is not included in public directories that list peoples phone numbers. Scammers use auto-dialer programs that call numbers in sequence and they have no idea who's number it is, until you tell them.
Those calls that seem to be 'directed at you' are most likely from somewhere you gave your number to sign up something or as a call back number and did not read their Privacy Policy where its usually hidden that you gave consent they can share information with others affiliated with them.

FMR left no message.

Sick and tired of all of these unwanted scammers...They need to go out and get a REAL job, rather than annoying people for a living...

Buy a call blocker from Amazon and you can block all of these annoying calls, its the best!

Just got a call from, them.  I picked up but no one said anything from their end.  Luckily I have call block on my phone and used it on their number.

I block the calls on both cell and landline

Called me and I did not answer.  left no voice mail

Looks like a scam to get personal information - they are identify thieves.

Called at 8:42pm last night while I (unusually) was actually on the phone. I ignored Call Interrupting like I always do (came w/my phone package and I can't get rid of it -- thanks, CenturyLink!). Anyway, entire area code now blocked. I know I've blocked numbers from them before, but like most relentless boors, I'm sure they have several to choose from.

We get this call, evetyday! We have caller ID - thetop of the screen says FMR - so sick of it! Como said he was going to take care of spam robo calls HAH right liar!

Says they're legitimate. I didn't answer, but did Google the # as it's my area code, so thought it might be someone I know who isn't in my contacts. Came up with this...
