We never pick-up & they never stay on-the-line, nor leave a message.  

We do NOT want to receive any calls from FRM!

Please quit calling

I have turned them in to the attorney general and got a letter back saying that they had "satisfactorily" handled the problem.  Nope, they just pissed me off more.  They had a list of the supposed times they called my home, it was incorrect.  They recorded only one time that we asked to be taken off the list, and put up some b.s. comment of "call back in 2 weeks" which was probably the time they harassed my mother who is going through chemo and told the girl just to answer no to all the questions.  The girl informed her that she couldn't do that as it was "her job to ask each question and get a separate response"  My mother said then you ask your questions and I'll hang up.  And they called two more times after that.  Their machines may record the calls made but the caller is the one who records the response, which is why even after you ask to be taken off the list they still call.  They probably get paid per response.  I am re-sending the letter to the Atty Gen along with this website (and all the others) so they can see just how many complaints are out there and the way they conduct their business.

I just called the 520-886-5548 # and the man who answered said he would take me off the list

Called 9/15/2011 at 3:24 pm, showed “FMR Associates“, no message.

This is FMR Associates.  They are a radio survey company. They are legitamate and are not selling anything.  Their computer keeps calling you until someone answers and speaks to a representative.  It is somewhat annoying because it hangs up after 3 rings to avoid most voice mail and answering machines.  If you want off the list you can call the number and listen to a long automated message, where at the end you can enter your phone number to cease the phone calls.

This number called but no one was on the line. We requested to be removed from their call list and still no answer.

I have received a call from FMR Associates 520-290-3741. I can hear someone on the other line but they do not say anything. I am pissed since I am on the Do Not Call Registry...

I to got the came call, I called back and got a voice reordering that said they would keep calling back until someone answered at that time tell them to remove your number. they also said a computer calls and hangs up after no answer on the 3 ring or an answering machines answers.

i called the number give from above and a very nice man answered i requested my number be removed and he said no problem. took about 10 seconds. hopefully this will take care of it.

Got another prank call from 520-290-3741 and just like the [***] that use the 8220 number they say nothing and hang up after a minute I don't know what their game is but I'm getting sick of these prank calls.

I received this call 10-7-2011 wanting me to take a survey about electronics. The guy didn't say what company he was calling from. If he did, I didn't hear him because I was busy saying "Thanks but no thanks. Have a nice day."

Just got a call from this place.  A woman said she's with a research firm doing a radio listening survey.  I agree to their survey and was then asked to confirm my age as they are trying to include a variety of listener types.  I answered that I am 39 years old.  I went on to explain that although I am happy to continue answering I would prefer to be asked if I will participate before they fire questions off at me.  The caller then hung up.  Who knew it was that easy to get rid of tele-surveyors?!

Ack, meant to say, "I *never* agreed to their survey and was asked to confirm my age..."

These calls are not scammers; they are doing market research to find out a number of things, ranging from radio habits to political polling. These companies are exempt from the do not call list, as they are not soliciting anything other than feedback.
