We have received several calls from FMR Associates.  The first time I saw the number I called and you get a lengthy message about how they don't fall under the do not call list because they are a "market research firm" and not a solicitation.  So I sent an email as their message said I should to opt out.  Again, more phone calls, the last time my mother answered.  She explained to the girl that she has been undergoing chemo treatments and had not been reading the newspaper or whatever it was that the girl was asking about.  The girl continued with her script.  My mom again repeated that she was ill and wouldn't have any responses to the questions.  The girl continued saying it was her job to ask the questions and my mom had to respond with a yes or no answer.  My mom said just put no all the way down.  The response was that she couldn't do that she had to complete each question and then get a response.  My mom said fine you ask your questions, and I'll hang up.  I called the company and left a message for the Head of Training about the harrassment.  Never got a response.  Today another phone call, mom didn't get to it in time.  I looked up the co. got a main number, was put through to the presidents voice mail and told him if we ever got another call I was reporting it not only to the BBB but to every one of their clients to let them know exactly what crap they were paying for.  The message you get says that your number is chosen randomly from a product that I just bought or service I got.  That's bs as I never give out the home phone only my cell.  Let's give President Bruce Fohr a piece of our minds!  Main number is 520-886-5548 ext. 247.  I'm sure he'd love to have his voice mail tied up!

This Number: 520 290-3741 Continues To Call My Cell Phone, Repetitively. They're Obviously TelleMarketers Disguised As Annoying Surveys. I Called To Ask Them To Remove My Number, But The Only Way You Can Is To Email Them [Which Then Discloses Your Personal Email Address!!], Or Pick Up The Phone When They Call & Tell Them To Remove You From Their List. The Don't Call List Doesn't Eliminate This Problem.

The email given above works!  remove@FMRassociates.com  I sent an email an hour ago with Remove and my phone # in the subject line and nothing else.  Already received a reply:

The email to get you taken off the list doesn't work.  I've done it, and still receiving calls.  I called after the last one and left a message for the president, Bruce Fohr, telling him I would report the company to the BBB.  I got another one today.  So I contacted the BBB and filed a complaint.  I also emailed every one of the people on the company roster and told them that I had filed a complaint and that I would be parked in their office to visit with Mr. Fohr this next week, and if he didn't see me, I would be on the side walk in front of their business, which is legal, with a derogatory sign and I'd go as far as taking out a large ad in the paper about their harassment.  I'm now trying to obtain a list of the companies that hire them to let them know about the amount of complaints they've received and to check out how they run their "professional research".  The company recording says that they don't fall under the do no call list because they are not a "telemarketing" business.  No they're just in the HARASSMENT business, which is what I told the BBB.  My mother is going through chemo treatments and when she explained this to the bimbo on the phone, she was harassed further.  I'd like to know what professional training seminar teaches you to harass chemo patients?  This is no way to run a marketing company.  You know they pay these people peanuts, which is about what they're worth.  File a complaint with the BBB, they'll get tired of hearing about FMR ASS!

Received a phone call from Ashton, some lady chosen to call me back from FMR, due to the email I sent to all staff members.  She apologized and said that they can find out who the surveyor was that harassed my mother and she would be reprimanded and retrained. HA!  I asked if they would be doing that to the rest of the callers who harassed us as well?  She tried to convince me that this was isolated incident and that they are a Media Research firm, blah blah blah.  I said obviously you haven't seen the ENDLESS complaints about your callers, the harassment they dish out, the fact that the calls are coming late at night, the 4 letter words they've encountered.  Apparently they have because she knew that their home phone numbers had been posted.  Then what the hell?  I told her I had filed with the BBB and that several others had done the same, and that they have no right to call people on the do not call list, which she responded that they are a "Media Research" firm and not a telemarketer.  I told her if we're harassed in our homes with unasked for and unwarranted calls from co's that we are not doing business with and they are attempting to get information from us, then they DO fall under the guidelines.  I told her I had done the removal email, left messages, and also asked the caller to take me off the list, all of which were ignored.  I also told her that there was no way they got our number from some other company as we do not give out the land line, only my cell (also on the do not call list).  I told her I was following through on obtaining a list of their clients in order to inform them of how FMR does business and to direct the co's to this site and others to see the endless amount of complaints they have received.  I also told her that if we receive one more call from their company I would be at their doorstep with a police officer for harassment.  I guess my email pissed them off!  Keep complaining about FMR Associates, keep letting the BBB know, we'll get their doors shut once and for all.

I'm on the no call list but still receive frequent unwanted calls.  FMR just called, I looked at the caller ID readout and didn't pick up.  Although these pests don't give up immediately, that usually does the trick over time.  Unless their persistence deteriorates into harrassment, I don't want to talk to anyone or provide my email online.

I have turned them in to the attorney general and got a letter back saying that they had "satisfactorily" handled the problem.  Nope, they just pissed me off more.  They had a list of the supposed times they called my home, it was incorrect.  They recorded only one time that we asked to be taken off the list, and put up some b.s. comment of "call back in 2 weeks" which was probably the time they harassed my mother who is going through chemo and told the girl just to answer no to all the questions.  The girl informed her that she couldn't do that as it was "her job to ask each question and get a separate response"  My mother said then you ask your questions and I'll hang up.  And they called two more times after that.  Their machines may record the calls made but the caller is the one who records the response, which is why even after you ask to be taken off the list they still call.  They probably get paid per response.  I am re-sending the letter to the Atty Gen along with this website (and all the others) so they can see just how many complaints are out there and the way they conduct their business.

Called 9/15/2011 at 3:24 pm, showed “FMR Associates“, no message.

This is FMR Associates.  They are a radio survey company. They are legitamate and are not selling anything.  Their computer keeps calling you until someone answers and speaks to a representative.  It is somewhat annoying because it hangs up after 3 rings to avoid most voice mail and answering machines.  If you want off the list you can call the number and listen to a long automated message, where at the end you can enter your phone number to cease the phone calls.

This number called but no one was on the line. We requested to be removed from their call list and still no answer.

I have received a call from FMR Associates 520-290-3741. I can hear someone on the other line but they do not say anything. I am pissed since I am on the Do Not Call Registry...

I to got the came call, I called back and got a voice reordering that said they would keep calling back until someone answered at that time tell them to remove your number. they also said a computer calls and hangs up after no answer on the 3 ring or an answering machines answers.

i called the number give from above and a very nice man answered i requested my number be removed and he said no problem. took about 10 seconds. hopefully this will take care of it.

Got another prank call from 520-290-3741 and just like the [***] that use the 8220 number they say nothing and hang up after a minute I don't know what their game is but I'm getting sick of these prank calls.

I received this call 10-7-2011 wanting me to take a survey about electronics. The guy didn't say what company he was calling from. If he did, I didn't hear him because I was busy saying "Thanks but no thanks. Have a nice day."
