I would like to know how in the world do they  have my work number they are harassing me and not telling me who there calling from

This number has called repeatedly over the last few weeks. I finally answered it and the woman on the line said my name (it sounded like my name anyways) and I said yes and she said "It looks like we have a special situation with you, I have Mr. SomeName on the other line to discuss it, I'll transfer you" and then I was put on hold. I hung up at that point.

They call me all the time & never leave a message. I will not call them back until they leave a message. I work for a collection place and then can most certainly leave a message with their name, company name, and phone number

I just added this call to my auto block list. If you can't leave me a message, I can't call you back. I KNOW I OWE $$. I haven't had a paycheck since 10/14. When I tried to settle with the companies I owed $$ to, they wouldn't work with me, so I lived off the $$ I was gonna pay them with. Yuo, I made $10K last two years!!!!! Now, I'm broke again, got nothing left to sell & am waiting patiently to hear from SSID. But back to the caller. Screw um. Ya can't get what I don't have. No welfare,  no food stamps, no guberment help. I'd fix this IF I could, but I cant!!!

If you have a bill and your making payments they can't do you anything. If you are paying your bills they have to accept what you can give them. At least your making a effort.

For two months I have been involved in a similar scam. Phone numbers originated from Minnesota Louisiana and Virginia all calls say that  I owe for a loan that I never heard of . First twenty calls initiated by a man who spoke broken English until this evening when it was a femin from Virginia . Often asked for Vidal numbers which I never indulge I.e. SS

They just called and I didn't pick up (not wasting minutes on a strange number).  Other people say it's a debt agency, but I've never had a credit card, never taken out a loan, and I've paid all my bills.  No idea what they're calling me for... especially since unlike most professional businesses, they neglected to leave a message.

Need to get my number OFF your list!

We received a phone call from these people. She told us that we owed $900.00 and if we would like to resolve the bill. I told my husband to hang up it's a scam. I blocked the phone number.

Total scam and I knew it the moment I answered the phone. I should not have answered a number I did not recognize  Lady asked for my husband, and when I asked who was calling, she responded with "Are you his wife?  We have an unusual situation here.  This is a recorded line and I'm putting Mr.xxxx on to speak with you."  The man says I owe Ashley Furniture 6000.00 and need to pay this debt.   I didn't give him a chance to say anything else.  I just said "This is a scam" and I hung up.  Then I blocked this number on my phone

Called me looking for my ex-wife! Lol! I haven't seen her in like 15 years. Then they told me I have to get her contact information to them. I laughed and hung up.

Spam or spoofer.

This number has called my cell a couple of times, and never left a message.   I called back and they report themselves as some collection agency.

Even if I were their person of interest, which I'm not, I have the right under the Federal Fair Debt Cellection Act to ask them to stop contacting me about the debt.  Period.  Never again.

I kindly, but deliberately, directed this man to remove my number from their database.

I was getting call from this number but they never left a message.  So I called it back to find out what was going on.  It seemed all very professional.  They man I spoke to asked what number they had been calling, after giving him my number he told me who they were looking for.  It was not me but I have gotten other collection calls for this person.  The guy apologized and told he would remove my number.  Nothing crazy at all.

They are seriously calling me like 4 times a day. Let it ring twice and then hang up before I can answer it. It's getting ridiculous. I know I owe some money, but I'm pretty sure I've reached out to all of them and made arrangements. But there is this old lady who has been using my number for the last 4 years on a bunch of random stuff (including loans that she ultimately defaults on). So.... who knows if it's actually me they are looking for.

I do not know who these people are.

If you work for them I hope they see how you spell and your grammar.
