Definitely a skip trace/collection agency. Looking for a relative who listed us as a reference on a student loan many years ago. Gave NO information. She was very pleasant, not rude. Leave ME and my unlisted phone number (yeah, right) alone!

Jackie Roberts called from Perfomant looking for my "husband" whom I divorced 8 years ago. I was "listed" as his wife. She was nicely asking for a way to contact him, said it was personal and important, but I would not budge and she became somewhat desperate and started asking what she should do to find him ("should I keep calling his office, it is only answering machine?", "should I contact his family?", etc.). Nice try. What the call was about she did not tell me. I said I could not give her his personal information and she was free to do what she needs to do to find him. Then I said I was at gas station and needed to get gas and I was late for work. Which was true. I hang up while she was still talking trying to fish out more from me.

PS. He did have a student loan, and something tells me he did not pay it.

She was told I wasn't home and she said they called my neighbor and they said they were looking at me..... What a liar!!!!

This is a debt collector out of Oregon..supposedly. Blocked and reported them to
FCC.gov on line.

Got call. Did not answer. They left no mess. Googled their number and found all the previous comments. Just blocked number. (I have never had bad debt. No current past due.)

Performant Recovery Debt Collector.  Just got a call about an ex-customer of ours.  They want to get a hold of this company.  I gave no insight, as it is a former customer.  She (called herself Faith Sylva) was very, very vague.

These people are harassing me for a relatives debt. I am not responsible for this person nor did I cosign on any of his loans. I believe it is a student loan but not entirely sure. I do not know how or why they have my phone number. They make it clear upfront that the call is being recorded an use various intimidation tactics to get what they want. I did not give out any information, first of all because I'm sure who these people are and secondly I do not have current information on the person of whom they are inquiring about. My take is, unless you are the individual they are seeking and you choose to speak with them, do not give out any information concerning other people.

Received a call from this number at my workplace, asking for a previous employee. Collecting debt at one's place of work is ILLEGAL.

The woman who called was not rude to me. She called and immediately said it was a recorded line, looking for a previous employee by name. She was very courteous when I told her the employee was no longer with us and said she would correct this mistake immediately and to have a good day.

I got a call from them trying to find out about a neighbor. I have a unlisted number and it's none of my business!

I just received a phone call from phone # 541-9557-7800 at 3:45 p.m. 06/17/16 Friday.   It is rude to call a phone and not leave a voice mail.  - I don't answer my phone during working hours nor do I answer the phone when I don't know who is calling me.  I am suppose to be on the no soliciation/no contact list anyway.

Received a call from this number. Said they were looking for owner or accounts payable for payment. We are a new business just a week old so we have no debts. Sounds like a scam. They called themselves Performant now.

Did not recognize the number, so I didn't answer. CID read Performant Reco. Kind of a funny first name, I thought. So, I will put the number on my "exercise in futility" block list.

The first question was "Can we have your Social Security Number  " When I said "I don't think so" they ask me if my name was Clay .
Nope , not me.

Caller stated her name was Tina Alan. Constant harassment. Gave me all of some else's information, after I told her it's not me, asked why she keep calling. Very rude, argumentative. Want the calls to stop!!!

Caller left No message and the caller id said "Unknown". I googled the number and found it was to: DIVERSIFIED COLLECTION SERVICES INC
1780 NEBRASKA AVE, GRANTS PASS, OR  97527. I definitely do not have any past due debts.
