unwanted call

These people are harassing me for a relatives debt. I am not responsible for this person nor did I cosign on any of his loans. I believe it is a student loan but not entirely sure. I do not know how or why they have my phone number. They make it clear upfront that the call is being recorded an use various intimidation tactics to get what they want. I did not give out any information, first of all because I'm sure who these people are and secondly I do not have current information on the person of whom they are inquiring about. My take is, unless you are the individual they are seeking and you choose to speak with them, do not give out any information concerning other people.

Received a call from this number at my workplace, asking for a previous employee. Collecting debt at one's place of work is ILLEGAL.

The woman who called was not rude to me. She called and immediately said it was a recorded line, looking for a previous employee by name. She was very courteous when I told her the employee was no longer with us and said she would correct this mistake immediately and to have a good day.

I got a call from them trying to find out about a neighbor. I have a unlisted number and it's none of my business!

I just received a phone call from phone # 541-9557-7800 at 3:45 p.m. 06/17/16 Friday.   It is rude to call a phone and not leave a voice mail.  - I don't answer my phone during working hours nor do I answer the phone when I don't know who is calling me.  I am suppose to be on the no soliciation/no contact list anyway.

Received a call from this number. Said they were looking for owner or accounts payable for payment. We are a new business just a week old so we have no debts. Sounds like a scam. They called themselves Performant now.

Did not recognize the number, so I didn't answer. CID read Performant Reco. Kind of a funny first name, I thought. So, I will put the number on my "exercise in futility" block list.

The first question was "Can we have your Social Security Number  " When I said "I don't think so" they ask me if my name was Clay .
Nope , not me.

Caller stated her name was Tina Alan. Constant harassment. Gave me all of some else's information, after I told her it's not me, asked why she keep calling. Very rude, argumentative. Want the calls to stop!!!

Caller left No message and the caller id said "Unknown". I googled the number and found it was to: DIVERSIFIED COLLECTION SERVICES INC
1780 NEBRASKA AVE, GRANTS PASS, OR  97527. I definitely do not have any past due debts.

This number calls and leaves no message. Another complainer said they are a collection agency. I have no debts in collection, so their records are wrong, or they're calling on one of my grandchildren. Either way, I am not involved and want them to STOP CALLING

I received a call yesterday from this number. The person calling said he was checking the references for a Vance ??? and that I was listed as his reference. I stated I am sorry but I do not know a Vance. The guy went off on me because I needed to identify myself when I answer my cell phone. I just laughed and he hung up. I was not going to provide any info, I felt like he was phishing. I have blocked the number. The way this guy acted tells me they may not be legit.

Call our headquarters everyday for people who don't work here.  Asked to stop calling us, those employees do not work here......but call over and over.

No message. Called at 3:16 PM 12-22-2016. Left no message.

Name left was Tony Valdez and they have called my place of employment.

You can lodge a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission but the Dept. of Interstate Commerce will deal harshly with companies that operate across state lines who attempt to treat people unjustly or break the law.

I just received a call from them just two minutes ago and they were looking for someone I haven't seen for 10 years and I haven't had this phone number for 10 years so I don't know how they tracked me down with my number but it was a collection agency I'm fairly certain. She had a lot of information, she had the friends children's names and where they'd lived in where she was originally from so I'm sure she'll find her eventually.
