I'm registered since one or two years on the Canadian Do Not Call List, but this kind of companies don't seem to respect this, because they tried to call me few times and let a blanc message on my voicemail.

There are scammers that ask for accounts and passwords, and if you give it to them, then you are at fault.  I just dealt with one that wanted my bank account and private login for it, so they could transfer money into it to pay clients. None of that was true and I screwed with them for awhile. But as far as emails, hackers do get into accounts on their own. It has happened twice to me and a couple times with my wife, and several times with other people I know. You just have to change your password once it is realized. It would be bad if they got in there and changed the password. But they usually don't do that, just get as much forwarded spam out as they can before you realize it.

Ha, that doesn't actually work! You are giving the interviewer a lot more time to do whatever they want. People like you are what we DREAM of! We can't put you on the DO NOT CALL LIST unless you actually say it! We still get paid regardless of getting a complete or not. Hmph, people like you are a joke.

I work there and we always say we are calling on BEHALF of Scotiabank. Please revise your english comprehension skills and maybe you might see WHY we are calling you!

The computer randomly dials the numbers. Don't feel so special.

Every couple of months we do surveys on popular opinions and things of interest. If the survey seems random well it's because we have to cram 3 topics into one survey. The interviewer are hardly interested in who you are and what your answers are, we just want to get through our shifts without rude respondents. So yeah, don't worry about it.

We are not allowed to leave any messages because there is no point of leaving our greetings and asking if you'd like to do a survey to a machine! Our operations are in Canada, USA and Europe. Furthermore, there are American companies who hire us-in Canada-to do surveys for them! The computer randomly dials numbers so please stop freaking out about how we got your number. Lastly, why would ANY company who is trying to sell you something call themselves:  OPINION SEARCH?! Like seriously?

*sigh* if you heard a greeting like that, it's because our system has frozen but pushed the call forward which means that we can't hear you but you can hear us.

If you have an iphone, simply hit the "i" beside the caller.  Then scroll down and press "Block this caller"...

They called so many times day around dinner time on pacific time. I told them to call me on the weekend after noon. Well, They did. She told me that she worked for a Survey Company on behalf of my Bank.  Big Lie   Big Lie

I am a very rude person when it  comes to telemarketer scammers. I can smell scammers through the phone very quickly. I asked her name, where she was calling from, and which company she was representing.

The telemarketer scammers told me she was calling on behalf of one of my Bank.  She told me to call the Bank reprehensive toll free number to confirm her legitimate. Yeah ! Another toll free number as if I was not very intelligent to see the connection.   What a Fork BS#@$%%&&*BS..scammer using my Bank name. Then  I asked what was her name and which Marketing Co. she was representing or working for? She just said "Nielson" I said, "Nielson what please how do you spell? I also asked "How do I spell your name? She was not very accurate professional to even do that which I noticed.   I was already getting angry. I asked; " Is this Nielson a Company? She answered; "  Yes, Its  Marketing  Survey Company"  I told her that she was so illegitimated, unprofessional,  as far providing legitimate information. I told her I was going to hang up on her then call my friend Bank manager to check on her claims.
She gave a toll free number to call 18000-472-68-42 . Please do not call the number because toll free numbers are  very easy and cheap to obtain. They can easily to obtain a toll  free number to back up their scam  scheme.
DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THOSE SCAMMERS.

Just got a call this evening and a last Wednesday night. I have done some of their surveys before but now they just call to much. I assume that it is ppl doing a thesis and needing research for their papers or something.

Got a call from 613-230-2890 today at 19.30. Didn't answer and they left no voicemall. They had called before on  07/08/2014 @19.33

Got a call from a certain Nancy Joseph and she said that she's calling from a company called Nelson. She asked for the Plant Manager. Put her on hold while i checked this website and she hung up!

This gentleman, while professional, spoke very quickly, so I missed his introduction, which ultimately didn't matter.  He wanted a specific person who is no longer here, then requested the general counsel regarding a survey.  That was all I needed to hear.  Company policy dictates that studies / surveys be sent via standard mail, which he couldn't do, but he compromised by asking whether it could be submitted by fax, and I gave him the number.

This number calls everyday at different times.I do not answer numbers  I don't know.They do not leave a message either.I am also registered with the Do Not Call list.I recently re-registered again as its not a forever thing.
