For a fee you can add a block service onto your phone.  When they call just add them to your block list.  The trouble for me is I can only add 30 max and I am running out of ways to block them. I'd pay the bills but I would rather spend the money partying and paying for services like blocking them!

You are absolutly right they have been nothing but nice to me. I do not "work for the company" i work for a company that is "on you side" and i have been slowly paying off a medical debt this company has never been rude to me or my wife. they dont even bother asking why i didnt pay when i missa payment

I received a call from this number and when I answered, I was told by a guy on the phone that if I did not pay my debt that the ywould be taking me to court. I then asked the guy, who the heck are you, and he told me that he was calling me because I was a deadbeat. I told the joker, go ahead and sue me, it's not my debt, and he got really angry and began making threats about ruining my credit and putting a garnish against my wages. At this point, I told the clown, you know where I live and come talk to me face 2 face and lets see what happens. I then hung up the phone, but I still receive at least two calls per day from this number, but I just dont answer the calls. Anytime someone from Meade and Associate can grow a set and meet me face to face then I might consider talking to the mabout the debt after I take a few pounds of flesh.

Let me tell you the collectors from Meade and Associates are punks, everytime they call me, which is alot, I call them right back five times for each call and cuss them out. I asked them politely to stop calling me, but they continued, so I shall continue heckling them after each call. These scumbags will never see a dollar from me

My wife had a run in with these clowns.   My wife (had) perfect credit for 16 years until Ohio Health screwed up a medical bill.  Before the purchase of a new car, I ran her report and found that Meade and Associates put it on her credit report.  They were nice at first.  She set up a payment plan.  The month she paid it off they (M&A) sent it to collections with like 50 dollars due.  Her credit went from high 770 to 702.  Luckily we could still get the car she wanted after an accident but we were still in disbelief.  She called them and they basically told her to "f" off and they would never have it removed.  They said when she set up the plan they verbally told her it was going on her report. (me laughing again)  Why would a 35 year old that has never been late on a bill agree to this?????  Well it never happened that way.  They said they were going to pull the tapes and listen to the conversation and get back to her.  Never happened. She followed up and they told her that she was screwed.  We both work for very large corporations and have very strong ties to many influential  business owners.  I hope by a miracle that we see Meade & Associates on a resume, because they won't be working for our organization and in fact I hope other companies follow this philosophy.  They are screwing with peoples credit and lives.  Their quote today to my wife!  "Is this causing some kind of financial crisis"  the nerve of these people!!!!!

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!     Don't hire anyone that has Meade & Associates on their resume.  They lack ethics, are rude, and will not work great in a team environment.  The only people that could work for these companies are the type of back stabbing, job stealing, arrogant people you hate in your organization.

You work for M&A or you wouldn't be on this site complaining about them like everyone else.  Have fun working for that company your entire life.

Waiting for insurance to pay 27.16 to Ohio Health, my daughter 's 2 Insurance companies are fighting over who is the primary for a bill originally paid 18 months ago and then payment was taken away by insurance, and it pops back up as
unpaid. They send it to Meade and Assoc for collection, seriously for $27.16. I had called Ohio Health and they were supposed to resubmit to insurance, now Meade and Assoc is calling my daughter several times a week on her cell phone at college, while she is in class and everything else, and she keeps telling them she does handle the bills, she knows nothing about it. I call them today to try to straighten out and explain I have talked to Ohio Health, and the guy still pressures me to pay, cause he does not get paid if I pay Ohio Health or if insurance pays Ohio Health, I tell him I am dealing with insurance and Ohio Health and he says so you won't pay me? I say no and he says fine and that he will report to all the credit agencies as refusing to pay, and precedes to try and hang up on me. I tell him that I am not refusing to pay, I am just not paying him , and he says once again that he will report me, I then had some fine profane words for him and called Ohio health and am once again dealing with them. Shame on Meade and Assoc and shame on Ohio Health for dealing with this company and putting me at their mercy for $27.16, that I thought was being taken care of already.

I am SO tired of them calling..and no they can't give proof of who they are....never give credit card information to anyone you don't know..I have no insurance and am disabled ...I just can't promise someone I don't know any of my husbands hard earned money....we struggle daily just to get by..and we don't get ANY government assistance. Self employment is crappy..especially when the work is not there....can't  get blood out of a turnip..I don't like to make a promise I can't keep...Be careful what you say to anyone at this Phone number...They call and call just to annoy you..I wish they could understand our end of things...

Got a call from them and they asked for my mom, which was weird... I asked who it was and they said, well who is this. I am not going to sit and play this game so i said i am courtney who are you and why are you calling. He said his name was Justin with meade and associates and he demanded that i gave the phone to renee . He knew she was my mom but i had np idea who it was so i just denied it. He told me i was full of [***] and that i needed to give the phone to mommy.... I moved out of my parents house almost a year ago and have not talked to them...if its a medical group you'd think they would be more professional. Next time they call i am calling the police. They call about six times in a row at least two or three times a day. LEAVE ME ALONE!!

I agree with you. it all depends how client is willing to work with us collectors. we understand that people have hard time especially these days but the truth to be told they do owe the money and they need to allow us to help them as much as we can and we try very hard to work with them and see if they can pay as much as they can. And if they say they don't have money, okay but they have money for cigarettes, movies, and so on.

This is a call from Meade & Associates in Columbus Ohio.   The automated caller left a long message for someone that does NOT live at this address.

You consumers exaggerate so much with your lies of what times collection agencies call at 7am or 10:30pm.  You states that collection companies curse at you and call you names.    You deserve what you get!    PAY YOUR BILLS and you won't have problems.

A $1K statutory award plus actual damages for emotional distress extracted from their abusive hides would have kept your baby clothed and fed for a long time, if not seeded a college fund, thank them much. Sadly it's now too late to pursue any federal claims.

Rogue debt collectors don't want your stories, they want your money. Never ask ''How do I pay?'' Always demand, ''Prove I owe!'' Sending you to the "good cop" two desks over in their boiler room does not rinse away their violations of law. I would bet the harpie never got fired, or if she did, was quietly rehired a few months later when the dust settled.

Well, naming this agency in a business management All Points Bulletin is nice, I guess. But really you want to see that name on a summons and FDCPA complaint, undersigned by you for a pattern of lies and unfair treatment. If your comments here closely followed the events, you still have time to launch a suit.

Payment plans with debt collectors are unwise decisions, no matter how much "doing the right thing" rhetoric you hear. What happened to you was not atypical and was planned in advance. Your reward for obeying the agreement is the agency jerks around and wriggles away, then blames you for being "difficult", all to continue draining your assets until the well dries.
