While I'm still researching these scammers... I have been calling them back everyday with the same charges against them lol....guess what... The call have completely stopped. They dont even answer my calls anymore.

One of them told me they were going to call the cops on me for harrassment, I said oh please do, so i can turn over the voicemails you have left on my phone.

Have not heard from them since. Call amd harass them back...what can they do? Nothing!!

really convincing woman--with that brisk, slightly impatient voice that bill collectors use along with a recording of a case number...except I don't have any outstanding bills so I know it's a fraud.

Keep getting threatening messages about outstanding debt that I know I do not have.

    Yes a Ladies voice called left me a message about this is the Processing Summons Division of my county . There's Fraudulent activities related to my name.  And have me a case number and phone number to call back . I left them a message letting them know I will forward this to the FBI Fraud Division to Investigate.

Burner phones can be traced to the cell tower that received the call from the burner phone.
And if the phone had GPS that information is available too.

But as law enforcement cannot react instantly and get a subpoena instantly to get the cellular company to instantly trace the phone call, it takes too long to track down the phone before the burner phone is tossed.

Just checked my voice mail and the process summons division called me this morning while at work saying two charges against me and that I need to call before the summons either is served at my work or home. Gave a case number. Had to listen to the choice mail about three times due to the bounce back between the recorder and the person.

Agree.  We need some modern day Julius Caesar to go after these characters.

Report them:

If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money,  tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

Ignore and block.  Total scam.

I recieved my 2nd voicemail recording today that was the same as the first regarding fraudulent charges and being summons at my place of employment. When I received the first one on April 13, I was at work and just happened to have my voicemail on speaker phone in my office where my boss was present and was present and overheard. She immediately told me this was a scam and told me to hang up. We googled the number and saw where others had just recently started reporting this number;(878) 816-1650 and the using the same message/recording. I ignored it as she advised me to do and I knew I didn't owe any money. The message didn't even have my correct name. I got married and changed my name over 3 years ago and I would think if I was really being summoned, they would have to have my new legal name...js. Also. After reading some of the other posts, I have never recieved not would I ever have a payday loan.

This is a scam. Don't give them any of your information. I would however like input on the best person to contact regarding this issue.

I have been called with someone claiming that there were outstanding warrants against someone I know.  I know that this is a false claim.  The last # they used was 1 319 596 1491.  These are phone ill uses will call months in a row.  I called the # !687-816-1650 back and they only gave me a message to leave line.  I hung up and called back again, left a message that that person had not been here in 17 years!  Problem being I do not like being bothered by creeps that could be threats to life to the peoples names or social security #'s that they claim to have.  If anyone one has a lead on these people please report it to law enforcement!

These calls are constant throughout my day.  They come from Virginia & Georgia.  The female that called was Trina and she said that I had a civil complaint filed against me and that the sheriffs department would be at my place of employmet to serve me.  When I asked what it waqs for she wanted my ss #.  This is a scam!!!

Weather your debt is legit or not, it is illegal for them to harrass and threaten you. You can not go to jail for a debt or payday loan.

So please report or sue them :)

I just got a call from them...this is my first one. They said they have a warrant for my arrest for two charges (fraudulent). They left a case number and told me to call back. I am not going to call them back because I know that it is a scam.

Glad to know I am not the only person having to deal with crazy scam artist.

Thank you so much for authoring this blog. I just got the call (4-23-15 @ 10:49am) and it had me scared so badly that I'm shaking. I made calls to the ftc.gov they assured me as well that this a scam. I'm still shaking, but not as bad. Once again, I thank you kindly for your blog. God Bless.

No they are not calling from a cell phone. They are calling from a VOIP number. It forwards your call to their office/cell.
