the Sheriff's Office received automated calls advising unknown party (MILO THOMPSON) 1-678-816-1650 that two criminal complaints have been filed for fraud activity on the credit card.   call Process Division and a case number.   Please don't fall prey to these calls. ALL  Civil suits against you or a Criminal complaint has to be filed in YOUR COUNTY.  Do not responded to phone calls.......

If you live in Texas, this is how I took care of this.  These are cell phones and I just messaged them "You are in violation of Texas Financial Code 393, Debt Collection.  Please do not call this number again.  Your number has been turned into the Texas Attorney General's office and a complaint has been filed against the $10,000 bond you are required to post to do business in the State of Texas.  Also a complaint has been filed with the FCC, the FTC and the FBI."   Calls have stopped.

Damn so after reading all these posts i have to call my bank because i got a call like this weeks ago and i gave them a five hundred dollar plus payment.. I was so paranoid about tney as well didnt give me much info but based on the fact they had my info my address my email .. And so forth. Believed it..

Report the fraud to your bank, you may possibly get your money back, but not necessarily since you did give them the information from the card.  Also, read the post right above yours and go to the links to learn more and file complaints.  Educate yourself and you will not become a victim of these criminals again.  Also, be aware that once you pay, they put your name on a list and also sell that list so expect more calls along these lines.

Same old, same old "two charges" scam outfit.  No one knows where they are located but there's been some suggestion that the may be located in or around Kansas City MO.  They change numbers and CIDs all the time.

I have received calls from this number 2 days in a row now and they keep saying someone else's name and that they a filing court papers to have 2 fraud charges filed in the county and even when I tried to call before I read the posts online I was never even able to get to talk to a person

I called this number that repeatedly calls me and of course their vm is full and they do not give the company name or the person who is calling's name.  You can't leave a message and it is frightening when they say that they will come to my work and arrest me.  This is total crap.  They should be stopped and put out of their business practice misery.

These people just called me today and left a voicemail. Same situation as described by everyone else. I am so grateful that you all have been posting information. I wish people like this would feel the full brunt of the law for causing others such worry.

Received a call from 678-816-1650 stating they were going to file fraud charges against me. It seems like they have been calling a lot of people doing the same thing.  They need to be reported; this is a scam trying to get money from people,

I have had the same calls coming to my cellphone and home phone saying there is activity and I will be charged.

I am starting to get calls from this number too.  Just started last week.  I don't answer so some girl leaves me a crazy voicemail similar to what you said...fraudulent activity is attached to my name and social security number and we are calling to give you a chance before we file two charges against you and you will soon be served the summons at your place of employment or home.  A hot mess!! This morning someone called me from no caller ID and I answered it and it was some girl trying to confirm my address to serve me, etc.  we had words of course and I hung up.  She called back and left me a voicemail saying her name is Lisa Collins from the claim dept...a bunch of bull.  She read off of my social security number and was only 2 numbers off but still its a scam!  I was like to her...just serve me!  Thanks for listening.

None of the info is accurate , but the female voice( call bot) is calling numerous times a day to my phone.
Was it an app I installed?  Where is the source..who is the source?

I also received a call/voicemail from this number today (5/6/2015), as well as from an 801 area code about a month or two ago, stating there were two pending charges of fraudulent activity against my name and social security number.  I never called back as it sounded like a scam, so I Googled the numbers and found other websites with similar claims to these about the scam phone calls.

Call from GA. Continual calls several times a day claiming this is a legal call re a summons.
DO NOT CALL THEM BACK. I sent them a text telling them to stop harassing me.  Its a SCAM don't call them back

If the company calling is truly Sterling and Associates, their CEO is Anjelle Culton. If someone has confirmed the business name, we should turn her information over to the police.

Just got a call/msg from this number, 678-816-1650. Woman from "Processing Summons Divisions" saying there were two fraudulent charges against me and my social security number and my legal rights would be forfeited if I didn't contact them immediately.  Gave a case # and said I would be served if I didn't call. I must speak to somebody in the Legal Dept., didn't give me a name to speak with.  At first, scared "the stuffings" out of me, then researched the phone number and saw that others have received calls from this same phone number... Gigantic Scam!  Fear Tactics!!! CAN'T this be stopped?
