This PAS or Premium Asset Services say they do "judgment enforcement" and are located in Riverside California. In reality, of course they are debt collectors.

Another site has reported:
"This company has several offices, not just at the Fairview St location. They are also at 1820 E Garry Ave #107, Santa Ana, CA 92705 and “Worldwide Asset Recoveries LLC” is at 2641 Hamner ave #209 Norco Ca. They have another office in Huntington Beach as well. All scam offices ran by James Trent."
Apparently Trent's employees are considered independent contractors. So their compensation is based on their own individual performance, they don't get a salary per se. Which explains a lot of the rudeness and law violations that occur with these companies.

- CWG40 replies to Jonathan JonesJust because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:
1. Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2. Demand a debt validation letter by US mail. E-mail no good.
3. Do not pay the collection agent or anyone else a dime until the debt is validated
Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.
If they are bothering you, report them:
http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection (Threatening civil proceedings with no intent to follow through, or threatening criminal process in order to collect a civil debt is a violation of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.) The same goes for endless telephone harassment
Also contact your local attorney general
If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.
You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because, being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking), the only thing they understand.

SANTA ANA, CA 92704 - Maria replies to RetailJust got a call from an unknown number stating that his name is Dave Weber from Firm of PAS and associates and that they have a judgement pending to garnish my wages. Knew my husbands name and and pretended to act like he has spoken to my husband and that my husband knows what they are collecting about. Stated that I have until the end of the day yesterday before he submits the judgement to garnish my wages.
- LorettaPremium Asset Sevices called my employers twice pretending to be a mortgage company called Premier Asset Services but left the above phone number. They called me several times from this number as well as a different number demanding a call back. I called the company and they refused to provide any information unless I verified my social security number, which I declined to do. The first person I talked to transferred me to their "legal department", who also refused to provide any information unless I confirmed my social security number. Then he threatened to sue me.

When I looked them up, looks like they're a scam company which tries to extort money out of people through threats and harassment. I filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and my state attorney general's office. I wrote cease and desist letters and I'm sending them certified mail today.

- JustinCase replies to Brenda StephensBe afraid, be very afraid, so you'll pay a bogus amount to keep away those who won't show up in the first place. Without any kind of answer on your end if possible, it's one less person they're able to threaten. When they run out of responders, they're out of business.
- NdakotaBrenda, don't be afraid be ticked off. This is a scam! No one will serve you papers. If you were to be served they wouldn't warn you ahead of time because then you could avoid them. Block the number and do not respond to calls of this type. Never return their calls.
- CWG40 replies to Brenda StephensDebt collection scammers. No legitimate process server calls you up in advance and tells you they are coming by. Ignore and block these calls.

Called them back and they mentioned an employer I hadn't worked for in two years, and mentioned my PARENTS property! I'm 26 and live on my own, don't understand why other people's property was tried to use as a way to collect a debt I owe. The man was extremely rude everytime I spoke to him and kept threatening me with jail time and taking me away from my children. Was very verbally abusive to me, called me stupid etc.

- ZorabearReceived a voicemail today on my landline asking for my brother-in-law, who passed away over 5 years ago, stating that he had to return the call today because a civil suit had been filed against him. Not 3 minutes later I received a call on my cell phone leaving the exact same message for me! My b-i-l never lived here and I certainly never had any dealings with him that would result in a civil suit that involved both of us!! Blocked the # on my cell, dont know what to do about the landline.
