- StephanieThese people use different numbers across the country. I've repeatedly been harassed about a payday loan, though I've never had one. One message was a woman giving me a case number saying I had to appear in court and there was a restraining order. Another was a very rude man claiming he had left me messages and I needed to call back immediately, though it was his first message. I often get calls from a man with a very thick Middle Eastern accent when I actually answer the calls. It's a scam. Every time I ask to be removed from their calling list and I'm hung up on, I report them to the do not call list. But then they start calling from a new number and it all starts over again.

- Credithound replies to EricThese guys are walking a chalk line attempting to evade FDCPA and even by giving any information such
as
"investigating" to a third party (neighbor, ex, parent) could be considered a violation and cause damage to your rights.
Turn the scum bags in to the FTC and the AG of your state. With enough complaints they are forced to sue on behalf of the consumers. - getting pissed offrecieved a total of 8 calls today. First from there actual number and 7 others from "unknown". Leaving message stating they left several messages (FALSE) They left 1(one) I have a tape recorder handy and will be ready for there next BS call. I have never heard of this company Until today. (PAS)
FACT: If you were going to get served by a court, trustme...you most likely would have already been served. NEVER EVER verify your informaion over the phone as you can NOT verify who they really are. That goes for ANY so called collection agency...I ALWAYS insist they send me a certified bill or letter, that way I am protected and so are they. If it is a legitimate "colection agency" they WILL comply with that request. If they refuse to give you company address and so on...odds are it is a fraudulent company usually set up by some low life scumbag trying to scare people hoping they will cough up money.
I am speaking from personal experience. My husband and I had a ton of debt...and slowly but accurately paying and settling of debts to avoid bankruptsy. I WILL NOT be bullied by someone trying to make a quick a quick buck and try to scare me.
They are NOT allowed to make threats. PERIOD. I became VERY familiar with the FDCPA (fair debt collection practice act) Pull your credit report (you can get a free one every year) I have pd off my small balances and once a month I settle on a large one. Even if that means breaking that settlement up into 6 payments. The next lg settlement bill will just have to wait until the current one is completed.
ALSO, when they call you back say you are taping the call. Invest in one....because you can catch them and have them prosecuted for violating the FDCPA. (walmart sells them fairly cheap) best investment ever!
Do not be bullied.- Caller: PAS
- UnknownThis person just called me with the same exact message. He said that he as made several attempts to contact me and that I needed to contact them back today. How bogus is that? I have never heard of these people.

- BonnieSame as above. I used a different phone to call them back and they asked for the number that was called so they could look up why I was called. I told them I wanted to know what type of business it is. She said, "Have a nice day." and hung up.
- Michael McClure replies to Nina| 3 repliesI just got a call from this number today, claiming to be a company call PAS. They are a collection agency that buys delinquent, outstanding balances from banks and then charges ridiculous interest rates. I had an account with Wachovia before they sold out to Wells Fargo. I closed the account in good standing but they later charged me $40 for closing my account (which i left in good standing with 0 dollars), which then brought on over-draft fees bringing me to a total of 82 dollars and some change. I was not notified of this balance until 2 1/2 years after the fact. The account has since been sold to these people you're talking about. They have apparently been tacking on interest DAILY and I owed almost $500. After reviewing Federal Trade Commission rules and compliances, I have discovered that debt. collection agencies cannot add interest to a frozen/sold account. After battling a supposed financial advisor named Drew Adams for nearly an hour and a half, I back him down to the principle balance of 82 dollars. I repeat. These people ARE a crooked, but they CAN destroy your credit. Just be careful and don't let them talk you into paying any outrageous amounts
- Louie| 1 replyJust got a call from these people. They called yesterday and left a message stating it was urgent that I return the call. They (Brian) called again this morning and after asking a lot of personal questions without telling me WHY he was calling, became irrate and abusive when I asked what the call was concerning. When I refused to answer his questions, he told me I was ignorant and hung up. I called back and asked for Brian's supervisor and was transferred to someone equally offensive and threatening.
I checked and found that this company operates under two names, Premium Asset Services, LLC and Worldwide Recoveries, LLC.
Their address is 2414 S. Fairview Street, Santa Ana, CA 92704.
Send a certified letter telling them to cease contacting you. If they continue to do so, they could be liable for fines levied by the FTC and a possible $1000. payment to you.- Caller: Premium Asset Services

- StephanieI just got the same message on my voicemail stating that they have left me several messages and to call them back immediately. So, just to see what they had to say, I called and the lady that answered was nice and asked me if I knew of a Greg K****** and I said no and she asked if I had just gotten this phone number in the past year and I said yes and so she said that she was sorry for calling and she would remove this number from their system. Apparently this number was a contact number for this person and they were trying to reach someone else. So, it is a legit call and I suggest calling them back and letting them know if it is not you they are looking for so they won't call you again. Just thought I'd give an update. Hope this helps.

- Guest| 1 replyI received a call from PAS today as well and I called them back and got as much information as I possibly could from them. They were saying they were going to sue me for an unpaid credit card ( which has been paid off for 2 years ). They are trying to scam people out of money. They are very rude via the phone as well. I just want to make sure everyone is aware that you should watch your credit reports and they will show up on there as for checking your credit as Worldwide Recoveries LLC. They may have more information on you than you know. Don't let Identity Theft happen!
