Called at 7:30pm but no message left. They called a very private number that isn't listed anywhere and a small list of people have. They may be random dialing.

This number keeps calling me tonight for the 10th time.  It's really pissing me off. When i answered, it was just a bunch of beeps...the last one i answered was some spanish automated message.

Received a call from 7207081000 at 2am. Attepted to call the number back and got a recording that the call could not be completed at dialed, to check the number and try again.

Comcast trying to solicit internet sales after I disconnected service when I moved.. They've been doing this for months and call from different numbers.

Scam said my credit card was used & I needed to pay for items purchased.
Big scam can't even speak English scam. When I started to question they hung up!

Phone rang, caller ID showed this number 720-708-1000 Unknown caller, so I didn't pick up. Suddenly I hear my Mom leaving a message on the answering machine!! I talked to her and she said the connection was horrible at her end. Why her call showed up as a 720 area code when she's in 507 is beyond me!! Any ideas out there?

They calle 3 times today , to my job cosmo caribbean inc , and they said that my supervisor tell them to calle me, an tell me  to pay for the insurance , i tell him tha im going to call my boss and ask him about that. Ejem i call my boss he sai no he never spoke w them, but they said to me that they have my bank account , plus rounding number and he going to chartme , he name is david GonzÁLEZ  and Emilio campos. This number has called us several times a night, for the past several weeks, showing up as a Colorado origin. We have ignored it, but I wanted to report it.

Sure glad I didn't pick up that call -- and thanks for the info about this scam operator.

Make up a name so they don't go on here knowing what your name is ;)
Iphone4 said CO, USA...no voicemails.. just calling yesterday and thursday.... Make sure everyone goes to DoNotCall.gov to make sure you are in the system ;)

90% of the time when they call no one answers. When they do, they say they are calling for a fundraiser that I have asked numerous times to take me off their list.

Got a call from this number ask if this was Steve I said yes they hung up

Said they were from Pakistan, barely understandable.  Connection sounded like they really were outside somewhere in Pakistan.  Gave them no information, but when I called back the 720-708-1000 number they called to stop any further calls to our number, recorded message says "the number you dialed cannot be reached, please check the number and dial again".  Scammers

This must be some kind of a big time scam. They called my home & cell at about same time and left messages saying " they had forwarded important documents to my home" ok. What a bunch of crap. Beware of these scammers!!!!!

Received call from this number. "Denver CO" shows on caller id along with number.  Answered with hello and the other end hung up immediately.

This might get a bit technical, but I think I know what this number is and why this is happening:

7207081000 is the default caller ID for a SIP trunk.  This is a voice-over-IP (VoIP) phone line that businesses or boiler room operations can rent out and run from anywhere with an IP address.  The PROVIDER of this service is a Canadian company called voip.ms.  There's nothing nefarious about SIP trunks or VoIP in general.  Many legitimate businesses use them.

This provider guarantess caller-id passthrough -- which simply put means that when I make a call, I can specify the caller-ID that shows up. HOWEVER, when I don't specify a caller ID at all... this number in question is the one that shows up.  So when I make an anonymous call from this provider (000) 000-0000, the number shows up on the recipients phone that I am calling from (720) 708-1000.

So the answer is:  Anyone who is using this voip.ms server and is not providing a caller ID number is displaying this number.  I suspect they'd fix this if people start calling them to complain about the rude callers that violate Federal laws and the company's terms of service.

This number has called me repeatedly for 3 days straight they never say anything and when I call back a recording cones on. They start calling around 10 every night and don't stop til 4 or later in the morning I've litterly had 2 turn my phone off and that's just redicolous!

Over the Last year, we've received calls from a Mr. Joe Jackson [Black Man] asking for either or director of engineering or Chef of the restaurant. He's a solicitor. We are tired of this [guy] calling us  - what can we do?

Got a call from this number and get a disconnect after I pick up the phone.  Has happened for two days in a row around the same time of 2:41 pm.  I know this is probably a solicitation call of some kind, probably about reducing my credit card debt.  Pain in the a$$ !

just got this call and it was a recording.  it told me my computer was no longer being protected and they gave me a website to go to in order to fix it plus a code to input - can't believe anyone would fall for this crap
