answered the phone and they ask for my son by name, I told them they had the wrong number, he  ask if I knew ( gave my sons full name) and I said no and he hung up..the number came up unknown name on my callerID.. have no idea who was calling or why...my son does not live with me, he has his own phone.

I got a call too.  They wanted to write me a cheque for 50 grand, and wanted my banking info....[***]...

Just received a call from 720-708-1000, asked for my boss my name,(he was using a very silly voice) I told him he was not in the office. He said "Oh yes he is there and he will talk to me, I'm Ryan Young, his Uncle's Brother" I told him no he really is out of the office, called me a B***H and hung up.

Disconnected immediately after I answered.  I received another call a few days later from this number again and did not answer.  They left no message.

Just cxame back from vacation and found my answer machine with a bounch of beefs leaving no room for the important messages

Just got a call from this phone number... didn't answer because I didn't know the number.  I just tried to call back and I a recording stating, "your call can not be completed as dialed, please check your number and dial again."  ??? Seriously?

Am tired of unsolicited telephone calls.

Does it have to be a political call? Or do other people do it for other things?

Keep receiving phone calls from this number.  No one there - just clicking and beeping.  They call sometimes 3-5 times a day.  At all hours. I am fed up with the harrassment.

Glad I didn't break my neck to get downstairs to answer. No message left so they are going on my junk list. Thanks!

Rec'd call and when I answered, it went to the "beep, beep, beep sound with recording stating you have reached a non-working #, please hang up and try your number again", ??? really?

This does sound crazy....I got the call too. I didn't answer. I did a reverse trace and because it can't be looked up, I can tell what it is.... It's a government number (either FBI or Secret Service). Most likely the second one. What they do is they try to weasel information out of the people that answer the call. Most likely because they're starting an investigation on the person being called or someone the person knows. Do not answer it!

I have received many calls from this number and do not pick up unknown callers.  Yesterday they actually left a message and said a name that is not even here and that she was being sued and gave me another number to call... tried the Denver, CO number that was used and it was a bogus number.  Am NOT calling the other number  855-627-8551

Am ASSUMING it was a legl firm as they said there was a complaint filed against someone with the same last name, but unknown to us.  Even gave us a "case number"
WORST thing is I tried to block the number and the phone company wouldn't accept the number!

I did on my cell phone then they called my work and ask for me.  My boss told them I no longer work here.  They said was a legal matter and I was in trouble of being picked up by the police and needed to call them asap.  I will not call them back.  I dont have any legal problem.

so just had the 720-708-1000 call me i actually talked to someone for like 3 seconds : long enough for the person on the other end to say that there name was ANGELO and then the guy hung up as soon as he said that ? ? has anyone ever heard of this ? very weird. and is there anyway i can block numbers like this
