Got an automated message saying that I won a trip and needed to press 9 to speak to  a live person. I did hit 9, and after a few seconds a guy answered. I asked to remove me from their list and never call again, and he hung up on me!

Just received a call from this number.  A message said I won a trip.  I just hung up.

Don't press 9, because if your internet provider is a telephon access, he hack our system.

these guys got a another got a new phone no. 727 831 2410 and 407 965 0600.

I think these guys are just pumping us for info maybe for them or somebody else?

Again. 727 831 2410. I've had dozens of these calls. The last time I got this cruise call, my husband hung up, and the company called back from an unlisted number and called my husband "a piece of [***]". The time before that I was asked for my breast size and offered a [***] from the telemarketer. These are all telemarketing agents for Ramada Plaza Resorts which are run by 3 guys out of Fort Lauderdale, FL. The two main call centers used by RPR are based out of Toronto and New York. I've called the police and the phone company. All I can do is log the calls by using the phone companies call log feature and then I can hire a lawyer who can work with that log and the police to establish a record of harassment after which I should be able to sue them for the duress and lost time (as they are calling my business). If that fails to stop the calls then I'm going to hire some goons.

It appears that the call orginates from Clearwater Florida

I saw the number on my phone but never answered. I live in Canada and the call is from Florida. I knew immediately that this was a fraudulous call.

Just had a call from this # also, yes it is fraud, you never ever hit the 9 key on your phone. They can use your phone # to rack up 1000's of dollars of long distance charges. Read up on it.

report them to the clearwater B.B.B. or local law enforcement, never ever press 90# on your phone if ever asked to. highjack your phone # and run up longdistance charges in the 1000's of $$.

Got a call from this number today and have had many other calls from this number.  They have been told to remove my number from the list on several occasions (when they actually call as the ramada, like weekly) but they still persist.  Do not under any circumstances hit the *9* key for automated messages...EVER.

From reverse look up this number originates in the Clearwater/St.Pete's area.

To the best of my knowledge, in Canada, the provinical police deal with telephone scams, internet fraud etc.

Moi aussi je suis du Québec. J'avais ce numéro sur mon afficheur, puisque je n'étais pas à la maison lors de l'appel. J'étais curieuse de savoir d'où venait ce numéro, alors je l'ai écrit sur Google. Et me voilà ici.

Nous avons reçu un appel de ce numéro. Nous avons immédiatement raccroché

Caller ID shows that we received a call today (2007-04-19 @ 17:58) on the company phone from (727) 831-2410.  No one was in the office to answer it and they did not leave a message.  Our offices are located in Ontario, Canada.

Like others, we received a call from this number today, but they failed to leave a message on the machine.  We are located in Vancouver, Canada.
