All these people who keep getting called from this number are from southern Ontario. The amount of crap telemarketing scam calls I get through my listed phone number are driving me crazy. They left no message since I did not pick up either.
I just got a phone call about 10 minutes ago at 11:55 am.

Automated call telling me that they were from my credit card company and that there were no problems with my card at this time but.............. and that was when I hung up.  Call was from phone number 727-831-2410,(2:17pm,june 8th) I am from the Province of Quebec, I'm a Bell client, I find this on google's

The automated "Rachel" left a msg about my credit card account - and the lower interest I might get if I pressed "1" for a live operator, and presumably got another card. Other telemarketers claimed to call on behalf of Visa and Mastercard. If so maybe Visa and MC can stop them. Robot telespam calls are illegal in Canada, and have been for 15 years.

Received call at 6.08pm.....did not get to phone in time, so machine picked up but no message was left. I am in Toronto - Canada.

Got a call this morning in Atlantic Canada. Won a free cruise! Told them to kiss my butt.

Got several hang ups from this number, yesterday and today. I googled it and found this site. Thanks for the info. I'm in Toronto

they keep calling

I was at work when this number showed on my phone's caller ID. I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. I am in a different area code, so I knew that no one should have been calling me from a 727 code. I assumed if it was legitimate, they'd leave a voicemail. I received no voicemail.

Same deal, I was at work and answered the call. Some credit card company saying I have balance of zero for right now and that my APR was reduced to 6.9%.  I knew there was an issue as soon as I heard the crap coming out the b i t c h e s mouth.  So I pressed 9 to talk to someone.  They hung up!

Have a ringback tone on my cellphone, seems to defeat these type calls because after about 1 ring they cut off, thinking that they aren't getting a ring/dialtone :)

Je viens également de recevoir un appel (sans message) sur mon répondeur. *69 m'a révélé le numéro 727-831-2410.  Simplement pour dire que ce vilain numéro semble toujours actif le 14 juin 2007.

Just received a call on my answering machine... with no message... *69 told me the number ID was 727-831-2410.  Just to let you khow that the number did attacked Canada on June 14, 2007.

I have been called at least 2 0r 3 times from this number. I actually called it back the last time I got a call, and it wouldn't go through. Each time, there's a recording saying that they'd like to verify some information with me so they can lower the interest rate on my credit card, but they don't tell me what credit card company they're from (it's a recorded message).

Asked who it was twice and get no reply

Got this call saying i won "A TRIP TO THE CARRIBEAN"!
i pressed 9, but then hung up when it was ringing.
People keep talking about how it can bill your long distance charges way up..
has it ACTUALLY happened to someone?

J'ai reçu un appel au Québec; j'ai appuyé sur le 9; et ensuite une fille a répondu et m'a demandé de parler en anglais; même si je suis bilingue; je ne lui pas parlé en anglais et elle a raccroché; ensuite j'ai voulu reprendre la ligne et pleins d'appels se faisaient à partir de mon téléphone:  WATCH OUT; SOYEZ PRUDENT ET RACCROCHEZ !!!!!!

I have the "cable" phone line and after that call; I wasn't able to take my phone; phone calls were done from my line.

This is "[***]" crap.

Just got a call.  Unknown area code so I didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message.  Looked up the number and found this page.  Thanks.  I am in eastern Ontario, Canada.

Told they were from credit card services and my credit card was going to expire and this was my last chance to renew with a lower credit card interst rate......
