That's really crazy... I was in a nearly identical situation.  Just got home from university a week ago, am about 20 years old, was just sitting around, get this WEIRD phonecall (Oshawa, ON)... didn't get to it in time, though.  Got the voicemail!  Good luck!

I just received a hang up on my voicemail.

Received call in Elliot Lake,Ontario from this number.  No message left.

Oh please if you live in Canada you should know that Bell Canada is publishing the books with your numbers and selling them to telemarketers for a lot of $$$ the only way you can stop that is get unlisted # and that is where the phone company get you you pay for that service or get new number and you pay again and still get the calls

Got the same scam call. Checked in here to see that it is from Ramada Plaza Resorts  nothing to do with Ramada Inn.

Just got this call once again. Calle Ramada Plaza Resorts and they said that they will start an investigation into this number

At 12:37 pm on May 11/07 I received a call from (727)831-2410. I am also located in Ontario Canada. I personally NEVER answer to a number I don't know. Got to love call display.

Just got a call from 727-831-2410 telling me I won a free Caribbean cruise. It said press 9 to claim the prize, so I just waited. Then it said press 9 to claim or press 8 to be on the no call list. I pressed 8 and the line disconnected. This happened on May 14, 2007. Pain in the butt!

I just got the same call too. I pressed 9, rude girl came on the line and I asked for the removal number. She hung up on me.

I got a call this morning from this number and it was a sweet young girl. we are having coffee later this morning.

Automated message that I won something and to press 9. I hung up.

Just got a call from this number. Caller not very bright as she did not wait for the beep to leave a message.....she was talking until the service began recording, so all I got was "Thank you" and the automated service recording to press 9 for an operator and something to be removed from the list. I jsut deleted it. Its my cell phone! How did they get my number?

I got a call from the number today (5-18-07) at 4:23 p.m. and I did not answer, but part of the recording was on my voicemail about a cruise and pressing 9 to speak to someone or 8 to get off call list...

I also received a call from the caller id 727-831-2410. I am in Ontario, Canada and this is the second call I received from this number. I wanted to tell them not to call me so I did press 9 and was put on hold for a minute then got disconnected. I called the provincial police who refered me to the RCMP "Phone Busters" They advised me that pressing 9 does not open your phone to charges. we just got another call ... looks to be almost exact same time as Candace LOL i had to *69 to get the # though...it doesn't always show up...they have accused my girlfriend of lying when she said she didn't have a credit card lol the girl said she KNOWS she has a credit card cause it's right on her screen in front of her. Should have given a fake # to see if they caught on lmfao

They claim to be in "cahoots" with Ramada...we called them before and they claimed there is a lawsuit pending...great...why no charges?? zzzz

They called and didn't leave a message. when i called back it said the number was incorrect.

I just received one of those calls too, Stupid me pressed 9 hoping to ask the person to remove me from the list, instead got some guy who pretended he couldn't hear me and hung up on me, then the phone rang 3 more times with the same number!!! I hope I don't get any unexpected charges on my phone bill!
