This number called twice today, *69 both times, they would not leave message on machine. Googled the number and saw this web site.

I rec'd this call last night and showed unavailable number and the person who called did not leave a message, hung right up after my answering machine's on. Just ignore it!  If you have a call display, don't even bother picking up the phone, waste your time.

Got a call today from that number.  Offered to reduce the interest rate on my credit card.  I pressed 9 and spoke to a guy named Ben Oliver.  He offered to reduce the interest rate on my card.  I asked him what my name was since he had my card information.  He then asked my what my name was.  I said well if you are offering me some deal on my card you must know who you are calling.  He said something smart mouthed and I hung up on him.

Got this call also, figured I'd talk to someone and aske to be removed from their call list (I'm getting 3+ calls a week from this number), listened to some hold music and was hung up on with no "live person".

Yet another call from this number offering me a Caribbean cruise.  I've lost track of how many calls we've gotten.

Keep getting phone calls from various area codes including 317-634-8133, 727-831-2410 amongst other numbers. Called the first back out of curiosity and number came up on phone as 1234567891. I called Bell and asked if this harassment could be stopped and their reply was "they will call the party and ask that they not call you again", yea right.

Just picked up from 727-831-2410 and caller hung up.  Googled number which came back to FL.  Will call the Quebec Telemarketer Line.

Automated call telling me I'd won a Cruise.... hung up

I do not answer long distance rings until I know who it is. Let the answering machine pick up. No message was left and pressed *69 and proceded to this page. I am in Ontario.

did not answer, left no msg., recent calls from company have been playing on the machine indicating the ability to reduce credit card interest rates
Thought about returning the call - decided against.

Called the last two days, starting to get upset here.

Why is this person not in jail yet?, if they are stealing credit card info.

OK folks, never, never press 9. What happens is the caller on the other side can access your phone line and take controll of your long distance line. This was a scam that apparently inmates were doing within the jails. Their just a little bit smarter now and are using automatic recording such as, "press 9 and see what trip you have won" to get you to press 9.

Number showed on machine but did not leave message. Have a business and need to follow up calls. Ended up here. Perhaps I will buy a very loud whistle....
Is there anything else we can do?

I got the same phone call today and never answered because I have caller ID. The listing said just "Florida" and the number "1-727-831-2410." I did a reverse phone book search on it and found out it's a Metro PCS Cell Phone number in Clearwater, FL, which I found quite strange. I still wasn't sure who it was, I thought it might be someone I know who owns a place down in Florida so I decided to call. All I got was a message saying something to the effect that my call couldn't go through. I found this page afterwards.
