Thanks for the information on Harris Connect, LLC. I got a card from the "Alumni Relations Office, Wentworth Institute of Technology, P.O. Box 3140, Chesapeake, VA 23327-3140." It was labeled Electronic Service Requested and printed on the card were the words "FIRST-CLASS" and "IMPORTANT NOTICE." They were preparing a publication titled "Wentworth Institute of Technology Alumni Today." I NEVER went to Wentworth and was tempted to call the number, 1-877-596-9052, and tell them off but am glad I did not call. In fine print is the name on the yellowish card is the company name "Harris Connect, LLC." So I'll look for calls from this number next - in fact I'll enter the number on the BLOCK list just in case. They have listed Monica Key, Director of Alumni Relations, Wentworth Institute of Technology on the card so I may try to call her at the true alumni contact number. Maybe they'll react and complain to Harris Connect, LLC.

I've gotten three of these calls in two days...I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the phone number.

The caller said he is calling from "Harris Connect". They collect data for publishing Alumni Directories.   THEN they tried to sell me an updated phone directory from the college where I graduated decades ago for $100.00.  What a SCAM!!!

The caller ID said Unknown but they are Harris Connect, the leading provider of fundraising alumni directories.
They can be quite a pain in the rump, calling and calling.  I don't know why they don't put co. ID in.
I had already updated all my current information on a website, including a picture.  Yet Harris insisted on interviewing me over the phone, to which I would not give them any information.  They must get paid for collecting the data that was already collected.  They were told not to call back.

These people have called our business every day for the last several months.  Our receptionist just told me about it and I answered a call earlier to hear a man asking for a name of someone who doesn't work here and then hung up immediately as I began to say "Please remove us from your list."  I called the number back and after ringing about 20 or 30-some times, it connected to a recording where I was able to enter our number in the do-not-call list (Option 3 i believe).  I'm hoping it works, because from what I hear, they call and hang up immediately damn near every time and they call at least a half dozen times a day.

They called - asked for me -- and hung up before I could come to the phone.  I #69 the phone and called them back --- got a recording with options -- pressed the option to talk to someone --- recording said they were closed for the day -- WTH????? I put our number on the do not call list and they better not call again.....

This number keeps calling my business phone and when I researched the number on the internet I noted a significant number of complaints about this phone number.  

I have gotten calls from this number, but have not yet spoken to anyone. My question is how can they report you as delinquent on a debt/payment if you never gave them a credit card?

Repeated phone calls from this number.  Has not replied within a reasonable amount of time when I pick up the phone, so I've hung up.  Thank you to others who HAVE answered and then shared their information.  Now I know not to answer at all.

Robo call

I just talked to them. I have gotten directories from them before. They are legit. You can either refuse to get one, or you can order a DVD, a printed version or both. My alumni association notified me that they would be calling.

Frequent calls of a fraudulent nature.

Called my work number after hours, did not leave a message.  If this is from the company collecting alumni information, I want to tell them that I will not share any information with them, nor will I be spending any money on whatever they have to sell.  We'll see how long they want to talk after that.

I work at an institution of higher ed and this phone number calls every few days and then hangs up after I recite our canned greeting. It is really annoying. I contacted their customer service but probably I'll just get more calls now.  The joys of manning the call center, every Tom, Harry, and [***] calls.

Calling on behalf of Group Health Cooperative regarding the voting on the acquisition by Kaiser Permanente. Wanted to know if I received my ballot. Recorded line.

These people keep calling my work line and my cell phone, but when I pick up there is a lot of noise in the background and then they hang up or I pick up and they just don't say anything.  VERY ANNOYING!

They call my work number everyday. No one replies when I say hello, but I can hear some background noise. Now when I see the number I don't pick up. I wish I could block the number.

You're a tad bit biased though.
