isnt having a phone a privilege ..??? then why are there ass's abusing the source.... where is crtc ??? - Cherry Blossom| 1 replyThis number is Google but like any number spammers and fraud artist's may put whatever number they want on your call identification device or phone. The number might be Wells Fargo, City Bank or any other number and if coming from that organization may be valid or if coming from another party fraud.
At the moment I think the only way one may avoid these calls is to switch to Ooma.com or Vonage.com both voip systems and far lower than any old phone companies charge. The only thing you need is an UPS or uninteruptable power supply for your high speed modem and the Ooma.com or Vonage.com voip device. After that just plug in your normal phone and save without these annoying calls.- Caller: Google or Fraud
- Yvonne replies to pbdNot entirely true..I do not have a cell phone and still received a call from this unknown person..
- Greg replies to Cherry BlossomVonage is more than $10 per month. Magic Jack is $4 per month. Ooma is $4 per month. Google is free. Do the math.
- annoyed customerreceived over 14 calls in one afternoon, as well as at 3:00 am ! this is very annoying, I am sure this company and or person would not like getting calls from me at all hours of the day and night- loose my number

- El Cid replies to FilaWe know it's a man because he keeps his mouth shut. Duck and cover.
- massage therapistThis call was from a distinguished man about 48-55 years old who asked me if I do massages. I was suspicious of him immediately. He wanted to connect with me for a nasty reason. Since he lives in CA and I am I am in MN he obviously did not want a massage. He asked the prices and then hung up. I called back but the number went nowhere. I think he was hired to call me. He is a satanist who wanted to connect to me.

- Robbie replies to lilmissmusicDid your gramma send all her life savings to the address? Swindlers love elderly widows who have always had all their business handled by their husbands. Typically they are very naïve and likely to fall for the crap swindlers pull on them.
Swindlers came after my newly widowed mother.I went by every day at mail time to intercept her mail and take it into the house. She had no idea what I really was doing, assuming I was just doing her a favor.
I told her several times not to sign anything until I had looked it over and if necessary have her lawyer examine it. Unfortunately one day I was tied up and the mailman went by before I got there. Mother got the mail and sure enough she found a letter from "Pennies From Heaven," and signed the contract for them to find money belonging to her. Poor woman, she thought she had done something really smart. "PFH" only wanted 50% of the money, which was a refund of mortgage insurance premiums on paid-off mortgages. The administrator of Dad's estate had already applied for the refund, so "PFH" was too late on that one, but the contract was open ended and could have resulted in the swindlers cheating her out of half of everything she had coming from anywhere. - Robbie replies to KarenNOT a prank call. Hackers-swindlers trying to get your ID information and access to spy on everything you do on your computer. They want your address book, too.
- Robbie replies to AshleyYour local cops can't do anything about a caller from Pakistan.
- UnknownCalled a few minuets ago with a message to call back 9179029098...
I don't call people I don't know. - DanEveryone should be aware that 760-705-8888 is a number that GoogleTalk uses for outgoing calls. That is, if you place an outgoing call with GoogleTalk, but you don't have a GoogleVoice phone number assigned by Google, that's a number that will appear to the person being called. Not sure if it is the only such number, but it's one of them.
So the answer is that it is anyone and everyone calling you, but using GoogleTalk to do so. That's a free phone service, so anyone and everyone will try to use it for whatever.- Caller: Google, essentially
- nice guythis number keeps calling me its a scam!!!!

- Chris L.| 1 replyGuy has left several messages calling himself Randy and saying he saw my info on FaceBook and wants to talk.
I know it is BS because I do not have a FaceBook account. It is getting VERY annoying as he leaves 5 to 10 messages a day. - MidNYteStorm replies to Chris L.Trust me when I say that Facebook is totally overrated.
- SP2SP replies to JeffSometimes when people are trying to email someone they know from gmail, they may accidentally click on the wrong thing in their contact list and accidentally call the person they are trying to email. Whoever is calling you from this number is probably someone you have given your email to and meant to send you an email/text and not call you.
