had one very similar yesterday with horrible language... now blocked

Received a call from this number at 1:25 AM.  No message was left.  Based on previous posts, if this is a Google number, thousands of different people are using it and it could be someone you know, a lonely stranger, someone making random harassment calls, a salesperson for an unscrupulous company, or a scammer, among other things.  Seems best to block the number if someone other than a friend is using it to reach your phone.

Received phone call from 760-705-8888.  Called 5 times in 4 minutes.  Usually doesn't say anything, but background noise indicates children.  One time, little voice asked for my mom.  Love google, but seriously... Control your people who make these annoying calls to business numbers.  Often times we make a complaint and nothing seems to ever happen.  Praying one time, things might change.  Google needs to take privacy very seriously or they will lose long term.

Why does anyone call you?

They called me saying that I better not leave town cause they're watching me, and won't quit calling me now -.-

760-705-8888 this person called and described my face then got my Skype and my phone number no idea how beware he kept saying for me to get on Skype and help him get off or he would spread my info. I blocked him and did not participate in anything

I received a call at 2:00 am with no response. I would like for this to not happen again.

Said he was my oldest grandson, Franco. Realized he'd screwed up and hung up. Be very careful of calls claiming to be a grandchild.

Someone calls here (Florida) several times a day from this number, I stopped answering because there's no voice on the line.  Right after that, a call comes through from C001: whatever that is.  It's very annoying, this is a place of business and some of us have to work!

a lady called from this # said a jessica referred her to me and that her car was running like crap and needed someone to look at it. i kept hearing her push the numbers on the key pad and i told her i couldnt hear what she was saying because she was pushing buttons then i got disconnected. called the number back and its not in service

This is the most ridiculous thread i have ever read in my life. "i'm calling the police" omg, really? What do you think they're going to do for you? I came here because i too got a call (mult calls) at work on our 800 number. I've just spent the last 15min reading some of the dumbest things i've ever read in my life. "how dare they go into my phone!" -really dummy? Then you best throw out your smart phone and go back to clam shell / zach morris-style brick / or no cell phone at all, or did you not notice that you had to sign into google in order to even turn your android phone on? Good gracious....Some people's children

certainly not anymore ridiculous than your rant.  You posted nothing of value and manged to only insult other posters.  Hope you don't treat the people who call your business that way, because if you do, I would imagine you will be out of business shortly.

This call came in twice. Said he was looking for debra. Told me his name was Mike and wanted to know my name. I hung up.

spoke with female caller, (accent) asked me to locate ex spouse for child support.. When confronted that the call was from Escondido, Ca and was a google voice VOIP number there was a long pause as the caller stated they are in Washington

Unbelievable so it calls our work number lady name Jane wanted to know about someone.  Transferred call to me and I missed call.  Good thing we have caller id and never left a message.  That's how I found from the receptionist who called.  I called the number back twice and it says "number has been disconnected."  WTF

I love playing with these idiots.  I go through their whole process then when they want me to type in the internet link I tell them I don't have internet.  PAUSE ???  "Is it down or broken"?   I tell them I was staking people on the internet and the police took it away.  I usually waste around 1/2 an hour of their time.  Last time I did this I think the deckhead on the other end was going to cry :)   Best part is my wife falling out of her chair with the LOL.    Have fun with these fools.

A Hispanic sounding male, giving the impression of having a mental disorder or diminished mental capacity, using the name Danny or Daniel Perez, has called here 41 times in the past 6 months and has made it a habit of calling multiple times within just a few minutes.  His calls have been unprofessional and creepy.
