Sallie and their debt collectors will call as soon as your bill is past due by one day.  They will call and if you pick up they will talk to you like its a good friend like.  

"Hey <First Name>, Hows it going?

After you answer, then they tell you who they are..

Once I say hello, a recorded message says something along these lines; Please wait for the next available representative.  It is important that we speak to you.  I gave them two minutes, and that was all I heard. They have my cell and home number!

My son owes Sallie Mae money, I don't, never co-signed a loan or anything like that.  They called and asked if I knew him (he's in Iraq).  Big mistake, I admitted knowing him, now they call me all the time.

I filed a complaint with the BBB against them, they said they would stop calling me.  Stopped for a couple of months, now it looks like they gave my number to this collection agency (they claimed to be Sallie Mae).

If I ever go back to school, Sallie Mae will NEVER get my business, period.

This number called and Mcc showed up on the caller id and then the same number called and unknown showed up.

Left a pre-recorded message about a Sallie May loan.

This company always calls me on Sundays, but never during the week....wtf?!

calls me 5-6 times a day for the past 2 weeks and it's always at 5am, then they call again at 6am, 10am, noon, and then later in the evening. i have called sallie mae back to ask them to take me off the list of people to call and they said they are unable to do it because its computerized. atleast have the courtesy to not program the computer to call at 5am!

They call every day starting before 8am and sometimes until 10pm. Most of the time there is only silence. Sometimes a recording says "Don't hang up. This is a very important phone call!" and then silence until I hang up.

Im getting 9 or 10 calls a day. Most of the time when I answer there is noone on the line, it just goes dead. Calls start around 8 in the morning and every hour on the hour till around 9 PM. They even call on Saturday and Sunday. This is getting really old really fast.

I get calls on my cell phone all times of the day. They are looking for someone other than myself as I have no student loans I am unable to block the call from my cell phone.

Try calling this person I list below.  They can help with cease and desist letters to not be called anymore.

They are part of Sallie Mae, but they are far nicer than the collectors that call.

And while I am posting this I have to say...

I am sorry I ever got wrapped up with Sallie Mae!  I wish I could meet face to face with some of their collectors I have talked to.

Incessant phone calls at my place of work, close to three per hour.

keep getting calls on my cell phone.  they are looking for alex (which is not me) because alex is a co-signer on a loan that went bad.  i never took a sallie mae loan and don't know anybody who did.   how do we get them to stop?

they just call and don't say anything. this is becoming annoying.

I called this number back less than 2 hours after they called and the messages said it was not a working number?!?
