They don't steal phone numbers, they spoof them.

Why do you expect someone who posted 10 years ago to see your reply? And if you know who called you, why did you look up the number?

-eyerolls-  And you're replying to a 9-year old post with that information, shill. Why would you look up this number since you clrearly know to whom it belongs? And while Greater Lakes may (or may not) be a "legit company", it doeesn't mean every call from this number is actually them. Scammers spoof legitimate numbers all the time. Better to never give this caller personal information of any sort but instead hang up & call a known number for them, such as the one on your loan paperwork.

Let's see, I have a Greater Lakes sun glass company, or you might be referring to the Greater Lakes Mental Health facility.

No, I had no idea! Lol I’ve been scammed, I understand how it works. The only thing I was referring to was that the company was legit, I have my student loans through them. Learn to read bud.

Well  Bee/Bree, if you go read your post they were replying to, you said:

There is no company by that name I could find, other than what BigA found.  Its called Great Lakes Higher Education Corporation and IF you have loans with them (which seems doubtful), then why would you get it wrong? Shills who spoof legitimate numbers do that all the time, because as much as they "say" they are educated, they mostly demonstrate here how uneducated they actually are. See the irony?

With that irony and responding to a 9yr old post with a pointless reply in a 26 page thread, only "sealed the deal" for  a troll kicking!

I tend to agree with Kat's original vote.  In less than two months our shill poster could not remember how to spell its (rather simple) name, even though the name was still visible just above the posts being replied to.  I guess our shill is fairly old if senility is setting in.

If you have your student loans through them, why wouldn't they leave you a message when they call? And maybe you should learn how to spell your own name "Bee/Bree".

I'm surprised she came back after nearly 2 months to see what replies she got. Unless she "forgot" who this number belongs to and had to look it up again. :-)
