This number belongs to Dell. I didn't pick it up and call back later to make sure. I haven't purchase anything from them for years. Probably just a marketing call.

No voice on the line, just the call... then they hung up.

1 call, you could hear a business in the background, but no one talking, last 3 I hit ignore and no voicemail.  This is my cell phone.

Got 4 more calls tonight...the first one I didn't get my phone in time.  The second time, they asked for the wrong number - make that 5 now in the time it took me to type this - I told her that it was after 10 here, I'm trying to put kids to sleep, and that I received numerous calls from them last night.  Make that 6 now.  Not to call again, did they understand?  I've received all of the other calls now and they hang up on me.  I'm calling my cell phone provider right now.

I called it back, it's the number to Dell, whose call center closes at 9 CST.  So, tell me why I am getting calls from them after 10?  Someone hijack their number?

I got a call too...no voicemail, nothing.

A man's voice left the following message "This is Tom from Dell's customer care to inform that the billing change you requested has been done"

Got a call from this number this morning at 6 am. Did not answer it. I wouldn't own a dell if they gave it to me. Or dell itself for that matter.

Sounds the same as what is happening to me. They have been calling for days now. Usually three times a day. I picked up once and they said they were from DDT or something and wanted to give me something free for using my Visa Card. A card that had been recently used for fraudulent transactions. I figured they wanted my new card number. I told them not to call back. Well, I have not picked up the phone since and now I see this number 1800289335 shows up with a message from Dell saying I need to call Dell tech support to.... bla bla bla. And I found this site about it.

They are calling from India or sometwhere i have been told, they called after 9pm last night to ask me about extending my warranty, I said I'd call back... sure i will.

I was trying to enjoy House and beer! But yeah, they call at odd hours, definately Dell

No voicemail, but got calls today and yesterday.  They're calling me between 2 and 4 in the afternoon.  I gotta say, ever since they started outsourcing to India, Dell really sucks.

i got a call from dell resolutions about a issue for my laptop.

I just got a call this morning, at 7 am. Wondering who would be calling so early, I was livid when I looked at the caller ID and it was an 800 number. I was fully prepared to write the FCC and complain (solicitors are only allowed to call between 8am-9pm), and was SHOCKED to discover that the offender was Dell. I completed a transaction with them a little while ago, but is there anything that needed to be discussed at 7am?! After reading about the havoc everyone on this board has experienced with them, I think I still might complain.

Having issues with Dell and was chatting with them online.  A bit later, and I get a call?  It was a number I was unfamiliar with, so I didn't pick up.  I searched for the number...and behold...it was DELL.  Didn't leave a voice message or anything.  That's pretty annoying.  Now I know why people don't like Dell's customer service.

Yea, got one too.  Call from Dell said that "the replacement keyboard was sent" and they just wanted to confirm receipt.  No idea what they are talking about since I haven't ordered a Dell computer for years! Very annoying.

What's even worse is that they got my cell phone number thru a Dell support incident at some point...and now I get unsolicited calls?

Crazy.

I got this call today supposedly for Dell Financial Services. I have not ordered any thing from Dell in years. I got the same call yesterday from someone with a heavy foreign accent but the number then was 305-644-5520.

Called around noon, Did not answer.

I called Dell for warrantee service and got India. I only understood every third word the girl said but the email she sent said a Dell tech was coming to repair my computer.  Then I started getting the calls from her on 800-289-3355 telling me to be sure to reply to the email (even though the email address is No_Reply@Dell.com and the email doesn't have anything to reply to).  My guess is that someone in India is getting paid for the number of phone calls they log and it doesn't matter if they say nothing or nonsense.
