I just got a call. From reading all the posts I'm guessing it's not actually Dell but someone pretending to be Dell. They called my cell phone and I didn't have this number when I owned a Dell a million years ago.

No one at Dell knows anything about why I'm getting these calls - either one of their wonder off shore employees is bilking the system or someone scammed the number and it using it as a means of identity theft - you think Dell would act on this because now I wouldnt answer a call even if it said Dell

Called me this morning, twice in between 10:30 and 10:35.  I answered and heard nothing and hung up.

this number just called me and I didn't answer, no voice message. and within the same minute they called my wife's cell, also no vm. we both didn't answer cuz we ran over our minute usage plan :P I just purchased from Dell but do not recall giving them my wife's cell !

Got four calls from dell financial services wanting to verify an order I have placed.  I DID NOT PLACE AN ORDER.  I haven't in six years.  Pretty annoying.  They left the number 8662289620 to call back.  I made the call back to tell them to stop calling me.  Tried to get some personal information from me.  I confirmed this number with dell and it is a dell number. Nothing to do with me.  UPSET to say the least

I got one at 5:40 this morning. Four hours later, another call. Same thing -- no one there, just a click when I said hello. My elderly, very ill mom lives with us and I had just gotten her back to bed when the first call came in. I was not a happy camper. I Googled the number and found this site (thank God). We have a Dell and have been having an "issue" with them for a while, also dealing with someone in the call center in India who doesn't speak English. I'd like to complain, but don't know where to go. Suggestions?

Called at 5:40 a.m. and hung up when I answered. Called again at 9:50 a.m. and hung up when I answered.

I continue to get calls and voicemail messages at my work number from 800-289-3355.  There is never a message on the voicemail nor does anyone say anything when I answer the phone.  I have called Dell to complain, but the calls continue.

4 calls in less than 2 hours.  Did not answer.  Turned off phone after last call.  If this is Dell I am NOT happy.

They left a message on my company's cell phone today:
sales dept for Dell, saying that they came across our website and are wondering how they can be helpful (???) to our business (which is aero-space/satellites related, btw).
They won't be getting any calls back from us, that's for sure...

I recieved a call after 9pm with no answer.  This was the number that appeared on my caller ID 800-289-3355.  I didn't appreciate being bothered this late at night. I was surprised to see that this number belongs to DELL.

I saw this number come up on my IP phone at work. They continuously keep calling back and leaving a blank voicemail message. We're an all-dell hospital, but I can't imagine out of all the IT contacts in this place, they even have my number.

I don't think it's really Dell.

This number just called me too.  A few hours ago I chatted online with chat for a technical issue from a very rude person.  After finding out my computer is dead and I'm out of luck, he asked if he could help me anymore with my computer and I said, no, it's dead and closed the chat.  Then they later call my cell phone (he asked me for it in chat to update their records).  No message was left but now I wish I picked up to yell at them, or from the sound of it, silence.

I just got two calls in a row from this number on my cell phone, but because I'm at work, I didn't hear it ring (I keep it on silent).  There was no voicemail, though.

They called me at 9pm last night, I did not answer.

Found this call on my caller ID when I got home from work.  Forgot to check the time tho, as it sounds like they could be calling at all hours.  
We also have been having "issues" with a Dell order, and emailing back and forth with someone from India.  I really have given up on that whole issue, but now this call!?  Like I want to have any more to do with them!?

Received a call on my cell 5:21am March 13. No voice mail. Ruined my sleep. Not sure how they got my phone number. How can we stop that this type of harrassment?

Got a call from them on March 25th 2008 around 2 or 3am. Didn't pick up, no voice mail. I was selling a Dell laptop on ebay. There has been some fraudulent activity on my account as a result of the auction (somebody placed a support request and had replacement parts shipped to the other side of the country to some random business). I've contacted Dell about this, they bounced me around the phone system for an hour before telling me  they'd pass it on to the fraud department. Still no word from anybody. I hate you Dell.

Received a call from a man with a heavy indian accent - he claims he was opening a "private school in Boston" and was looking to purchase laptops.  As I was immediately suspicious (our company is in NH and on the Vermont border no where near Boston) I googled the number and found this site.  When we questioned the gentleman further, including asking him where he was calling from - he said he was calling from the school itself - we told him we had googled the number and he was calling from Dell = he immediately hung up on us.  My coworker called the fraud department at Dell.
