Just got a call from them didnt pick up coz i didnt know who it was..so far they didnt leave me a message... i wonder what its about ? anyone knows?

got a call about 5:37pm tonight,voicemail said ,"this is ... from dell, about your order(placed an order for a tv this morning). please call this # an ext. to verify some information."  this is my 1st order from dell. is this normal ?my info was givin online thru the checkout and i got an email verifying it.

I recieved a message from these people a few days ago, asking about my recent orders.  I have not made any orders through dell.  I was allerted to the problem because there was an "inquiry" posted on my credit report.  Somehow, they had my name and social, enough info to establish an account through Dell.  You should probably verify through Dell if an account has been established in your name!

We use them for phone support when our computer breaks down. Why are they calling me instead of sending me email? Why do they need to call me if I don't need them?

I just received an early morning call from this number.  When I answered they hung up.  Guess Dell doesn't really want to talk to me?!~?

i keep getting called from 1-800-289-3355  10 times in one morning and they keep hanging up.  i wonder if i can report this to the fcc

Got home today and saw that there were two calls on my answering machine but no message and the name was not provided.  So I did a search for the number and found this site.  I made an order from Dell last night and they were calling to confirm the order.  I've never had any problem with them calling for no reason but it is annoying when they don't leave a message and then put my order on hold without telling me.  I called them and got it straightened out.

I just got a call on my cell from this 800 number.  After doing a Google search I discovered it was Dell.  Also, when I listened to the message left it was a woman's voice telling me they were calling regarding my 'problems with my wireless router."

I don't own a home computer, let alone a wireless router. I've never purchased anything from Dell.  And sure won't now.

I did make a claim against them at the FCC site.

I put in an order for a computer recently. Just got the call and ignored it. No message. Just after reading all the posts on this site, I just got the call again!  I picked it up and it was an automated service asking to confirm that it was me (who put in the Dell Order) After I pressed the number to confirm, it gave me the option to further speak to a rep to confirm my order or bypass the 2nd confirmation and proceed to process my order.  I chose not to speak to someone. The machine said, Thanks and goodbye.

I just got a call from this number and it was a Dell recruiter wanting to talk to me about an open position. Good thing I answered the call!

I couldn't agree more about the outsourcing part!

I sent my laptop to Dell to be repaired. I was wondering how long it would take to receive my computer back so I spoke with technical support via online chat. This number called me to ensure all of my questions were answered. I thought it was nice of them.

The software used to make these phone calls creates a delay in response. Usually, you must wait 10-30 seconds before the dialer even realizes the line has been connected and can reply to your "Hello".

We recieved at call from this number as well... But we are unsure if this is actually DELL's number. Well, My brother wanted a computer for his birthday so he had ordered on the DELL website. But you know how numbers go people can hack and take those numbers and use it illegally. Any ways, We're just concerned that the number can be a false number. considering its not from a Canadian line where we can check ourselves or in USA. Does anyone know for sure if this is reliable?

I received three calls from the above number.  I am in national do-not-call list but still the above caller keeps bugging me.

I've never heard so much complaining about such mediorce things in my life.  If they continue to call you might want to answer it, it could be something to do with someone placing an order with your information, if they are calling on an error who the heck cares?  Get over it.

This number called me and a voice mail was left. It was someone from Dell calling to inform me that the warranty on my computer that I purchased a year ago was expiring and that I have the option of extending it.

I am beyond sick of Dell.  I will NEVER buy another computer from them.  They never give up bothering you!  

Furthermore, I have had 3 computer issues this past 2 months, and they couldn't fix any of them.  I ultimately did.  The Tech. Dept. is sweet but stupid.  Who needs this aggravation and incompetent service too?

I'm on the national do not call list I didn't answer because it was unknown. It is not the first time I receive marketing calls even tough my phone number is on that famous list.
