CONTINUE TO GET CALLS FROM DELL LOCATION IN INDIA. THEY CAN'T SPEAK ENGLISH AND ARE PUSHING YOU TO PURCHASE THEIR SERVICE AGREEMENT WHICH IS USELES.
THEY KEEP YOU ON THE PHONE FOR HOURS HAVING YOU TRYING ALL TYPES OF CHANGES TO YOUR COMPUTER., MOST CASES IT DOES NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM.
LAST TIME THEY CALLED AND I ANSWERED I TOLD THEM I WOULD ONLY DEAL WITH SOMEONE FROM AMERICA THAT SPOKE ENGLISH.

IF EVERYONE WHO GETS THESE CALLS WILL DEMAND TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE IN AMERICA IT MIGHT GET THEIR ATTENTION. ENOUGH OFF SHORING JOBS FOR AMERICANS.

Called at 9:30 PM with the caller I.D "Dell" left no message

It was Dell.  I ordered replacement CDs & they were confirming that I had received them.  I ordered them on Sunday & they arrived on Tuesday. I think it's nice that they followed up to make sure I received them.

Some of you get so bent out of shape over a simple phone call!  It’s just Dell Customer Care calling to follow up on an order, service issue, or return.  In my case, I ordered a computer part from them and had to return it.  They called me today to simply follow up on the status of my return and to let me know that I will receive my refund within the next few days.  When companies follow up like this, then that’s what I call great customer service!

Got a call from this number today but, didn't answer as caller ID was unknown.  I do have a computer on order from Dell and have been communicating with customer service about a delay in shipping.  Now that I know it's Dell I'll talk to them.

It's Dell's Customer Service - informing me that they have refunded me the difference of what I had purchased three days before their Black Friday event.  Thanks!

This is Dell support number. I received a call regarding a warranty issue. they wanted to be sure I received the prepaid shipping box so that I could return an in warranty laptop to them for free replacement.

Got a call from them  - totally legit. I've been having computer problems and they were just confirming the the company who is going to fix my computer has received the warranty parts and that they would be in contact with me soon. 100% legit!

They called me once yesterday at 10:27AM but didn't leave a message.  I didn't answer the call or call them back.

Just got a call from this number,... seems like it was from a valid Dell Sales rep calling me back after my purchase a number of months ago.  She left a message.

This may be a valid Dell number, but it is also being used by scammers.  I have never purchased anything from them, and my wife hasn't purchased anything in at least 5 years, and in the last week we've both received calls from this number on our cell phones.  When we pick up its some Indian woman with a VERY heavy accent saying that she wants to confirm delivery address or credit card info for the computer we ordered.  When we tell her that we haven't ordered anything, she says "I'll note that on your account" and hangs up on us.  Then, last week I tried to use one of my Capital One cards only to find out that the card was restricted due to suspicious use.  When I called Capital One, they said there were two suspicious charges from Dell on there.  Apparently a scammer is trying to use Dells number to try and trick people into giving out info about their credit card.  Can't believe Dell hasn't investigated this!

Once you give your number to someone, this give them permission to call you.  At one time someone must have given your number to Dell, and that is why they call.  I know this because I was on the DNC list, and I was complaining about another company constantly calling me.  I was asked if I gave my number to the person, and at the time I had given it for some software I ordered.  Hence, I did, and I also received a call from them, so when I called them back, that was also permission for them to record my number,  FCC is not going to help if you gave your number to Dell.  Never call back any number that calls unless you know exactly who it is.  Most times I call from my work phone when I need to return a call.  Works great.

Yes, ditto here...I had talked with them concerning a computer virus and they had asked me first if it was ok to contact me in a couple of days to see how the computer was working.  They wanted to know what time to call and they kept their promise of noon!  

I have no complaints at all.
