I got call from 800-310-5479 may be 30 times in last 5 weeks, some of them really early in the morning. I called verizon and asked them to stop calling- the guy said they were calling to request renewal of the plan - i said no. What a wonderful way to loose customers- calling them at 6 AM asking to renew their contract. *@!#$%@#$%

Just got called. It rang 3 times and hung up bfore I could even get to the phone. This is ANNOYING! They should be reported to the Better Business Bureau!

i've gotten calls from them twice in the past week.  i don't answer numbers i don't recognize.  i ignore the call, but i never get a voicemail.  legit callers leave voicemails.

I received a call from the above number. It was a recording.  This is about acounts their for  they need to mail this information not use the cell phone for this kind of contact.They left no messae

Well... Why am I getting these calls? I don't have verizon...

I have received 5 phone calls from this number in the past 4 days.  No message when I do not answer, no one on the line when I do answer.  I want to be off their list!

Well I'm sure everyone would love to talk to your company considering how you communicate with people, calling them dummies and all.  Great way to represent your company you idiot!  Next time I get called by this number, I will answer and explain some idiot that works for them is online calling people dummies.  What a freakin' moron you are.  Scam artist!

6 calls from Aug 13 to Aug 29 2008 between 10am and 4pm

This is Verizon, only they contacted me on my home phone, not my cell phone.  Not sure why that was, didn't think they had this number.

The guy tried to give me more minutes, upgrade my service now and also give me a free phone even though I'm not due for another month or so.

It was all too fast and too suspicious so I told him he'd have to call me back.  

I haven't bothered to call them back.

1-800-310-5479 Daily calls from this number and if I do answer, there is noone on the line and the call disconnects itself.

This phone number called me and there was no one on the other line went I picked up.  I looked up the number on this site and saw that it is affiliated with Verizon so I tried to call back.  When I called back they said they could look up why they were calling me - he said it was to see if I have the best possible plan for my cell phone use, and he confirmed that I did.  Then he said he sees I havea  $50 credit towards a new phone right now so he was going to go ahead and send me a new phone.  I asked what new phone he'd be sending and why are they choosing which phone I get, why doesn't the customer get to choose?  He said they typically send out just an upgraded version of the customer's current phone so he'd be sending me the LG Voyager.  I said I did not want it - I am very unhappy with Verizon for downgrading my 2-year credit to $50 for a new phone instead of $100.  He was very matter-of-fact about sending me the new phone he chose for me - this is completely ridiculous, what phone company just chooses which phone they think their customer wants and sends it out to them USING THEIR credit?!

NOW, NOW THERE JUDJMENT DAY IS NEAR AND THEY WILL BE SENTINCED
