The call (with Indian accent) said he was from Dish. After seeing this number and reading all the complaints, I added it to my blacklist which forwards it to a couple of different telemarketer torturing robots. The first call after that was handled by my robot acting like a couple of very young kids. The caller stuck with it for over 7 minutes while the kids laughed and sung at him etc. He said he would call back.

He called back the next day (sounded like the same person) and got Lenny. Unfortunately, he gave up after Lenny said he could barely hear him.

I'm not a Dish customer, never have been, so if this were Dish, they should know that. This seems to be a very persistent scammer.

I received a call from this number at 10:53pm, no one said anything, just hung up, rather annoying

TOLLFREE CALL 800-333-3474 has been a repeat nuisance caller (last call on 10/20/2017) to my National Do Not Call Registry listed number. Legitimate vendors are required by law to check the NDNCR monthly and delete any numbers found on it from their solicitation lists. This caller has failed to do so despite answering messages to inform them of my number's status. I class this caller as a robocaller/ scammer/ telemarketer/spammer/ hacker and part of a group operating behind a phone bank of spoofed or darkweb-purchased numbers. It has not been possible to block them permanently because the massive volume of calls they make are overwhelming  the blacklisting limitations of blocking software provided by the telecommunication service. New rules by the FCC do entitle any victim of a robocall/telemarketing solicitation made without the recipient's prior consent to collect from the perpetrator $900 for any and each such call. DOCUMENT AND REPORT!

even though this appears to be the dish number it is not dish calling, scammers. i contacted dish and they do not call individuals, they communicate through e-mail or tv pop ups. i have had dish for twenty plus years and have had no issues with them.

IAM ON THE NO CALL LIST!!!!

Callerid said ‘Dish Purch Corp’, Accent sounded indian, said something was going to be changing location so needed info.  Asked for equipment id numbers and last four of social security number after reading me off my name and address.   After I hung up, I called dish and told them about the call, they said it wasnt them who called but that it had been happening to many customers as well.

We really need to fix caller id!

Caller: " This is (inaudible name) with DishTV calling about your TV Service."  Me: "I don't have Dish TV."
Caller: "What TV Service do you have?" Me: "Why are you asking?" Caller: "That's my business, You are all mine." he hangs up......Creepy

11/3/2017, Someone just called my Residence at 6:00AM today, Friday, from this number +1-800-333-3474. The man had a very strong accent as if he was native and calling from India, he was claiming to be a representative from DISH. He was very rude and kept speaking over me and would not allow me to talk. I was questioning him why he was calling this early in the morning at 6:00AM to my residence waking me up. I was extremely upset at the fact that they were calling this early, every question that I asked he could not answer as if he did not know English or understand it at all. He threatened to report me to the "Better Business Bureau" (as if I was the business doing illegal phone calls) and said my call is being monitored and recorded? He must not know what the Better Business Bureau is, but I'm definitely reporting Dish.

Scammer trying to get satellite feed through 'tv box' model and registration number. Foul language of sexual nature to try and intimidate a woman when called out as a scammer. Eastern accent. Indian?  "I'm going to f... you. I'm going to f'you in the a.." over and over again.

800 333 3474 called us at 5:34 AM, i knew it was Spam of some sort, but answered to say WTF are you calling me on Sunday at 5am! I worried my 97 year old mother was in trouble. Grrrr, about ready to stop having a land line, and yes I am on a do not call list, for all the good it does

The phone rang at 6:23 a.m., caller i.d. as "Dish Network", waking me up.  By the time I answered the phone, the caller had hung up.  I phoned the caller i.d. # , got a foreign speaking man, told him of my dislike of receiving this call at such an hour.  He transferred me to another "agent"' who reported he was calling from Texas - which is an hour ahead of MST.  This is still against the law of not phoning before the 9:00 a.m. time frame.  I have never dealt with Dish Network in the past nor will I ever in the future.  I am on the National Registry of "Do Not Call".

Called 11/10 at 8:08am. Left no message.

Just called me. Left a part message. Said this is Steve.
I don’t answer calls from numbers I don’t know. Especially 800 numbers.

  I have received a call monthly for about a year or a little longer.   most of the time, I get the call when I'm on the highway.  by the time I pull over and try to answer, they are gone.   I get a number of calls from my customers, so I try to return the call.   have talked to dish a number of times, and I feel that legit, they do not know what's happening.   the 800 number rings into the sales dept, and in effort to take care of me, they transfer me to service thinking that service made the call.   I have requested that they take me off their call list, but their supervisors assure me that they do not have such a list.
  I am not a dish customer, nor have I ever been.  I am on a do not call list.    the people at Dish have tried to remove me from any kind of list or history that they may have,   but the calls keep coming.
In my mind, I feel comfortable that Dish is not behind these calls, but some scammer using their number as an id.
