this 1 800 390 4812 calls every morning "waking my kids up" when i finally answer-the [***] hang up-our gov or state better have a way to STOP this fowl crap from happening on a daily basis-now our phones off the hook every night and out of a charged battery the next day so if gramma dies in the night we (10 min up the road)wont be the ones being called obviously that "STUPID NY do not call list" IS COMPLETELY USELESS makes me wanna live COMPLETELY without a land line!!!!!!!!!!!!so then even jury duty or automated voting polls w/out opt out choices wont be gettin a hold of this family for the next 30 years-sounds kinda nice and peaceful in actuality!

I have received numerous calls from this number.  They claim to be with Cancer Support Services.  I have asked them repeatedly to stop calling my number.  Three times they told me they've taken my number off their list . . . and then another call comes in from this same organization.   Each time they say it is their "first time calling."  It is exasperating and they are giving the cause of cancer a bad name!  How can we stop these insane phone calls???????

7/27/11  Cancer Support has been calling my workplace (3 times today from 8 am to 11 am).  They ask for me and when my employee says I am unavailable and asks to take a message, the caller states they wish to verify my information as I have donated to charity.   The caller does not leave a message or a phone number. Our caller ID shows the calls are from  Cancer Support and phone # is 800-390-4812.  A few notes:  #1 I have NOT donated to this organization  #2 I have NEVER heard of this organization  #3 When I call the 800 # back I get a recording saying "This # has been disconnected or is no longer in service".  I told my staff that if they call again, tell them that these calls need to stop NOW or we will report the calls as harassment with the local police department.

I want these calls to STOP NOW!

Someone from this number calls my house every hour. I want it stopped.

Cancer Fund called 9:30 PM last nite and 8:15 AM this morning. Do not Call is not working anymore from the amt of calls I'm getting recently - but I guess computers can't read. Anyhow I'm just picking it up and hanging up - some satisfaction in knowing they are paying for the call.

I receive phone calls from this company at least three times a day, seven days a week. Thankfully, they keep it during reasonable hours but it needs to stop!

They called at almost 9:00 p.m.  Woman was very rude and argued over the phone.  When I told her to quit calling as we are on the Do not call registry, my phone rang 1x every few minutes for the next 10 minutes.  Not sure how to handle this harassment, as I know they do not fall under the registry rules.  When I tried calling the number back off the caller id, it says the number is disconnected or no longer in service.  They just called me from that number!

Keep calling night and day.  I have tried to call the number back immediately and it says the number is no longer in service or disconnected.  They just called me!  Now I am turning on my fax machine to answer all unidentified numbers.

I think this is the number I keep getting calls from.  No number appears on the Caller ID, it simply reads OUT OF AREA.  I picked up today and asked who they were, hoping to get a number to backtrace but they didn't give me one.  They did say they were from the Cancer Fund of America though.  Not sure if this is the right number specifically, they seem to use many.  Again, no number appeared on the CID.

Sounds like a very illegal skip-tracing scam.  They don't really have interest in the funds, as they've been hired by a collection agency to find you and your assets.  They'll give you some spiel about cancer charity, jury duty, etc in order to get you to release your personal information, which they turn over to the collection agencies.  The skip tracing firms earn about $70-$100 for the skip/asset search, and the next thing you know, you're garnished or harassed by collection firms.  If ANYONE claims to be from a charity you should immediately ask for their TAX ID # and a contact number to reach their main offices at.  If they balk even a little bit, report them to the FCC.  

I've worked in the skip tracing industry for years, and am frequently disgusted by these types of scams which are against federal law, but nobody seems to care about this.  Make a big enough stink and they will care.
