This number calls me EVERY Day.   I too, am on the do not call list.  I usually do not pick up but when I do no one talks.   Now, tell me why do they call if they are not going to talk.   They are giving a bad name to the people who are really calling for donations for research.

Can anything be done about this???????

8:15am call from this number today.  Been getting calls quite a bit from them lately.  Ever so often my answering machine records a woman's voice saying "Hello?" and then she hangs up.  Typical "call center" noises in the background.

Calls me two to three times a day, rings four times, then no message or no one on the other end of the line.

They call about once a day now, no one on line,,,I forgot and answered it again a few minutes ago,,,gonna try to ignore if from now on and let it ring.

They called 28 times yesterday!!! Many of those were back-to-back. I wanted to throw my phone at the wall.  Luckily, my hubby went to our digital voice online center and blocked the calls.  It's been heavenly since.  Now that I know how to do it, I'll be blocking other telemarketers myself.

Call received at 2:06 PM, no message left no caller ID except the number 800-390-4812. If these are the same people who called and talked to my husband a week ago, he already told them that he was not going to collect money for them from his neighbors. I wish that they were on the Do not call list but people begging money can call you.

Answered the call. The caller asked to speak to me by name, then the line went dead!

I receive seven or eight calls from this number daily. This has been going on for months and months. As others have noted, there is no one on the line if you answer. If you call the number and they can figure out who you are, they try to scam you, as others have also noted. If you call them with Skype or something similar which is untraceable, there is a long recording asking that you leave a voicemail. It's too bad that their information hasn't appeared on alt.2600 or one of the many hacker sites (yet). I suspect if they were to receive several thousand automated calls each hour, it might shut them down.

A woman called from what appeared to be a call center. She asked, "Is this Mr. XXX?" I am careful not to say yes, because scams like this can record the "yes" and attempt to use this as the answer to a completely different question, such as "may we empty your bank account and acquire all of your worldly possessions, including those of anyone with whom you might have had the slightest contact?" Instead, I replied, "who is this?" "The Cancer Fund of America" they said. As they uttered the words I could hear the beginning of their miserable attempt to induce in their hapless victim a profoundly mortifying sense of guilt, but I hung up before they could finish expressing any more pus from their suppurating mouths.

said they were concerned that they hadn't received our donation--WILL NOT get it now!

They called me everyday since the 1st of Aug at the same time. I call back twice and left the message to ask them stop call me and I'm on "Do not call" they doesn't care and still call me. I filed a complains...

The number 800-390-4812 has called here over 40 times in 30 days. The request is for a donation to hel fight breats cancer. I told them many times we have can not help them I have also requested for them to remove our number from their dada base and the call up till 9:30P.M. Just got a call a few minutes ago and the lady said she is going to kepp call even after I nicly ask to not call us anymore. This is harrasment now. I give them 5 more days and I am going to sue for harrasment

cancer fund that who's call you . they called me and had no choice's to give it to me .

They called on August 14th at 12:30PM. I have disabled voicemail because of calls like these. Second time they called. The first time I hung up on them in mid sentence. It wastes their time to let the phone ring.

I have been called many times by this company. I called today and left them a message to remove from thier call list I will see if they get the message. I am on the do not call list but do see that it works any more!

Just got the call today... Annoying! Tired of people calling me when I'm on the do not call LIST!!
