get calls from 866-259-3883 also 800-259-3883 no message left, I'm on national no call list, also no answer if I pickup the phone This happens 5 to 6 times a day. There is also a problem with incoming 506 numbers.

Asked for me by name and then said ok and hung up

Received a call at 9:19 am, woke up my baby (most annoying).
No one there when I got to the phone. Wish they would stop.

17 calls in five days.  Caller ID says "CANCER FUND"

I am on the do not call list.  I answered and the person called me by name and indicated they were with a cancer society.  She asked me to confirm a $100 donation promised from last week.  I did not talk with her last week nor did I make a donation. When I said no donation was made--she began to pursue other information about the people who live in my home. I cut the call short.

Have recieved several calls from 1-800-390-4812.  They never leave a message.  I called back to find out the number was for Cancer Fund of America. call on 10/1-08 at 1:26 pm; tollfree no on caller id.  rang 3 times; no message.  WHY, HOW COME someone NOT get these calls stopped???  am on do not call list; haven't donated and wouldn't over phone.  in fact won't answer call such as this (not identified!).  we're smarted than they think.  this harassment needs to stop.  NOW!

I got the same thing...My number is on the Do NOT call list and they call 3 or 4 times a day and won't leave a message. When I answer the lady says "HELLO" and when I tell them we are the do not call list they still keep calling...Is it wrong for me to tell them that if they keep calling I will get them for harrassment?

It is a non-profit organization and as such is exempt from the Do Not Call Registry.  This is the law.  Non-profits may still call you even if you are on the Do Not Call Registry.

Calling at 10:45 at night however would be illegal for them to do.  That is well after 9 pm.  It goes by your time not theirs.  If they called you this late you could complain.

11-7-08 Cqlled my business phone and hung up on answering machine. Am on Do Not Call.  Here is a spreadsheet list of 141 unwanted calls in the last five months.  I print it and tape it next to the phone. Takes a second to glance at the list while the phone is ringing and it saves answering all the calls.

Just got another call... they hang up right away.. but I got this info.. pass it along.. I plan to call them every day to let someone know I better not get another phone call!!  I can be just as annoying... :)
