- STANI just called back and it was on behalf of Rogers, the scum bag of all communications companies. I already have my phone, cable and internet with them. I guess tye want my back teeth as well. I hope that Ted Rogers was buried alive.

they have called 4 times today already (it's now 1630 and i suspect i will get 2 more call at dinner).
i am going to turn the phone off until i get this solved.
u have to be pretty low to work for a company like this. - Really TickedThese guys are ringing my phone 2 and 3 times everyday. There's nobody on the other end. I'm angry about being harrassed. I'm chronically ill and can't rest with this nonsense going on.

what a load! - AgentDADGot call, came here, good info on how to add my number to THEIR DNC list. My question is WHY ARE THEY CALLING ME, I AM ON THE CANADIAN DNC list already!!?? Can't they be sued for this? (Not that I have the time or energy, but REALLY!!!)
I guess we shall see if they pay more attention to THEIR DNC list as compared to the Canadian DNC list...- Caller: Gemma

- Cdn_RedI was being harassed by these people in the fall (sometimes ten calls a day). I never picked up and they never left a voicemail. Twice, I called back and followed the instructions to be taken off their list. They were silent for about five months and now have started calling back again.
There are a number of loopholes to the DNC list so you can still get these calls periodically even if you are on the list.- Caller: Gemma Communications

- Will replies to BerryThe best solution.....sign up for some contests and give this 1-800-395-8813...number as your contact number....that tlelmartian will phone this telemartian....collision! Many of these calls come as a result of contest applications, especially travel prizes....they just want to fill a contact list....who knows if anyone wins!
- JenMy roomate and I got a phone call from this number this afternoon. We didn't pick up the phone and they didn't leave a message on the answering machine. My roomate thinks it's Rogers calling us about a survey that they've tried to get us to do before, but we're not sure.
- No nameI received a call twice from this number at different hours of the day. I simply called back by using a different phone and asked to be removed from this phone list. Everything was done by touch tone. No need to speak to anyone. They said my request will be processed in the next 24 hours...we'll see!

- Michelle replies to Berry| 4 repliesIt's a company ROGERS hired to telemarket. The national do not call list won't block these calls if you are a ROGERS customer. I called ROGERS and said if I receive one more call I'm canceling all my services. They told me I have to opt out of Rogers Marketing.

I've received this call at least 12 times now. I called it back and went through the phone number removal process. Hopefully it will work
- A little sound advice...I work in the Market Research industry, and honestly, if you tell the person you want to be taken off their list, they WILL take you off their list, but only for THAT PARTICULAR survey or offer. If they give you a corporation or client name, look up the info for that corporation or client and contact them to be put on their internal do not call list. Also, telemarketers try to sell you something. The National Do Not Call List will ensure they don't call you. Market Research, on the other hand, is not selling you anything. They have rights to call you unless you EXPLICITLY TELL THEM "Take me off your list". If you do not say those exact words, your name goes back into the calling pot.
I've been receiving these same calls from Gemma Communications, and I'm going through the correct channels based on what I know from my own place of business in order to get my number removed off of their lists. It's my cellphone they're calling, and in all honesty, call centers shouldn't have that information to begin with, never mind the fact that I'm a student and my cellphone acts as my house phone.
I hope this helps anyone with their quest to stopping unwanted phone solicitations. - RudyWeird... this number called me and left a message on my answering machine:
"Go figure... Dial a Bottle... What kinda company is this? They don't answer the phone..." (hang up)
They should at least hire professional sounding individuals.- Call type: Telemarketer

- No Choice but to ComplainI opt out Rogers marketing last week but it didn't work. They kept calling and calling. I filed the complaint.
- Kim L replies to TMI signed up for the do not call list the day it launched and i've been getting calls from this number several times a day. I never answer and they never leave a msg. It's annoying.
- MeIf they only called during the day, I could check the number on my call display and ignore them. Annoying, but I'm ok with that. But when they call in the middle of the freaking night (yes, they called at 1am last night!) that makes me really angry.
