416-256-1800 is their Toronto head office number. Just call it, tell them that you "want (your) # removed from all their lists and (you) do not want to receive calls from their company on behalf of ANY AND ALL of their clients, including clients with whom (you) may already have an established business relationship.

Be very curt, very rude and be repetitive and annoying and make sure you emphasize your phone number many times. Do it again the next day and then again a few days later and so on - maybe 5-6 times in total. Keep insisting that you are getting calls DESPITE their promises to remove you from their list(s). Eventually they will be so annoyed/scared by your # that it will go down in ALL their rule books, in PERPETUITY, as a # to NOT call.

I also have been getting a call from them every day. I am never there and my answering maching picks up, and then the telemarketers says "hello? hello?" on my machine!

This stupid number calls me every other day aroung 1-2pm.  I never pick up the phone but they keep calling me over and over again at my working time.  It's very annoying.  I just called and received an automatic voice that I can enter my number to remove from their list.

So one of these came in while I was asleep. I was interested because not many people use a 1-800 line as their outbound.

Anyways I googled it and came to this thread. You conspiracy guys crack me up. I have no doubt its a list active test, But you should know the "request to be removed from list" if not followed is actionable under canadian law. Meaning, it isn't worth their time not to delete your name as you could sue them. You the individual, really aren't that important to them.

Little bit annoying, but marketing is part of life, just learn to be more careful where you stick your phone number.

Still receiving 3 or 4 calls a week.  Have not contacted their Head Office, yet; instead will first be adding their email addresses to every SPAM site I can find.  I suggest that others do the same, as that should give them some insight on how it feels to be bombarded with time wasting messages.

In addition:  I just went to their website under the careers section http://www.gemmacom.com/positions.html and submitted an application on behalf of Joe Homeowner.  I indicated that I'm after a position which would allow me to work directly with their telemarketers, along side of my baseball bat, to address quality and communication deficiencies within their organization.

Did not provide a valid number or contact name; just hoping that such a submission gets someones attention..

I just called 416-256-1800 as specified above by boobadooba and a receptionist anwered on behalf of Gemma.  I simply stated that I wanted my cell phone number to be removed from their registry and she forwarded me to a voice mail box.  I stated my name and mentioned that I'd been called repeatedly by their company on behalf of Rogers Home Phone, and that I'd asked many times to be removed as their calls cost me money (this is against the law, I believe).

If I receive another call from them I will fire up Skype and waste their receptionist's time with prank calls, and I recommend you all do the same if you have the inexpensive SkypeOut service.  It's in their best interest to take us seriously.

I got their call today...  again.  The thing is that they call the rental office phone number which is transfered...  on my cell phone... :@  I Googled this phone number and found you guys...  If we would ALL call and hang up every other minutes, I think they would get the point, huh?  Next time, I think I will scream "f*** you" in the telephone.

Don't you think they are just dialing every number to try to see if this is belonging to somebody????  They call our rental office # and this number is locked for long distance calls...  Don't try to make everybod stupid enough to give their phone number to be annoyed back...

And to everybody who asked for it, yes I think that all the people that got an answer after dialing back this number are from Canada.

Next time they call me, I will know it's them because I recorded it in my cell phone as "ANNOYING TELEMARKETING"...  then...  "F*** YOU!!!!"  llooll

I have been harrassed by numerous calls from Gemma Communications for the past month. I just sent in a complaint to the the CRTC. Not sure it will do any good, though. But if everybody does, maybe we good people of Canada, might get some action from the CRTC. Maybe all of us that are being harrassed by Gemma Communications, should start a CLASS ACTION harassment suit against the company. Now that's something to think about, isn't it!

this phone call is making me angry, i wanna smash the phone everytime i see this hell number.

If you get called by 1-800-395-8813, call back 1-866-544-4154, you'll get a live person in that call centre.. tell them to take you off the list.

I got a few call every day and no answer.

After 10-15 calls from 18003958813 I decided I couldn't take it any more. So I called Rogers first to complain about this gemma [***]. First they pretended they never herd of them, but finnaly admitted that they are one of their marketing affiliates and I should call them back (!) to be removed from their f... list. Which I did. At 1-866-544-4154 (see Nick above - Nov.29). All I got was a message saying this is "Rogers Business Solutions ...bla bla bla" So, draw your own conclusions!

These people called my cell today while I was at work.. I only answered it because it said it was "Rogers". Then they asked for my so & so.. I said thats my dad, I'm on the account... then they said his name again.. That puzzled me.. then they hung up!

SO I called my dad & said Rogers called & refused to talk to me.. SO he called Rogers & they told him is wasn't them. It was a telemarketer grrrrr... So I saved the number & named it telemarketer & the next time the call, I plan to tell them off.. then ignore them... then call my Cell company & have them blocked

This phone number has been calling for days! If I do pick up and say hello, there is a moment of silence and i hang up(usually telemarketers)!

I called the number back and Billy is correct, it is from a company called Gemma Communications (an approved vendor for Rogers Communications)
