- Done with this!I get this call 4-5 times every couple hours or so and they call me back to back. I actually did have an account with Chase so I answered the first few times. No Reply, No Voicemail. I'm tired of wanting to answer the phone for job reasons and wondering if it's these characters again!
- Caller: They say Chase but it's not official
- Call type: Debt collector
- Susie QI couldn't believe when I googled this 800 number that I would find all these comments. On my cell phone, I set up this number to be a 'No Ring' when they call so I won't be bothered. The first couple of times I answered, they didn't pronounce my name correctly so I asked 'Who' and they hung up abruptly. I also think it's a scam even though I do have a Chase account. I've been unemployed since 8-08 and Chase wouldn't work with me at all. The last time I used my card there suddenly appeared two more charges which maxed out my limit so I had to report identity theft and get a new account number. They never did tell me who/what/how that happened. I hope that company dies during this recession!!
- BillS replies to chase suxsI did the samething use the bailout money to pay my bill. Im not going to give them one cent.. Chase got 25 billion from the gov..
- kidim not even old enough to own my own credit card, and these people have been bugging me for weeks. -_-''
- joeWhat can be done to get them to stop calling? They call 6-8 times a day at all hours, weekends and weekends. Today I asked them for their business name and mailing address. The man speaking with an Indian address would not give the a mailing addres and only identified himself as Alex. I told him repeatedly that their company was not to call my number again and if they did I would contact the Attorney Generals office to file a legal complaint. The man disregarded my comment and kept talking about how we have business the them and tried to confirm my legal name and obtain other phone numbers. I hung up.

- LEGAL replies to pm| 3 repliesHERE IS CHASE FAX NUMBER FAX THEM A LETTER TELLING THEM TO CEASE ALL CALLS 888-643-9628
According to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, [15 USC 1692c] Section 805(c): CEASING COMMUNICATION: I also request that you cease all phone calls immediately, with me after being notified in writing that I no longer wish to communicate with you via telephone.
Therefore, I demand that Chase bank, et al, Collection Services, Inc, et al, stop calling me at home, at work, on my cell phones or at any or all other locations.
In accordance with the federal FDCPA, now that you have received this "stop calling" letter, you may only contact me to inform me that you:
• are terminating further collection efforts;
• invoking specified remedies which are ordinarily invoked by you or your company; or
• Intend to invoke a specified remedy.
Be advised that I am well aware of my rights! For instance, I know that any future telephone contact by you or your company et al, or representatives, violates the FDCPA and that since you already have my location information, calls made by you or your company to any third party concerning me violates section 805(b) 2 of the FDCPA.
Be advised that I am keeping accurate records of all correspondence from you and your company, including tape recording all phone calls. If you continue calling me, I will pursue all available legal actions to stop you from harassing my family and me.

- HAVESOMEINTEGRITY replies to Marina| 1 replyEveryone Listen to This!!!! I am receiving this on my SKYPEin number. This is new and I have not given it to only closest friends. Please explain how a creditor can access this number. One is to believe that Big Corp is now using their power and privacy records to gain personal access. We need to do something proactive about this before we are all compromised. Farming out records to India is very risky. They do not have the same standards of holding documents, shredding of important papers...etc. Yes, they need jobs, but Big Corp does not have to adhere by the same human rights standards, or operations they do in the US. Are they helping or taking advantage of people who are in need of basic requirements. They need to play in their own SANDBOX!

- TIREDofthisbullMy place of business gets these calls over and over. This started this morning at 8:30 and has continues every half an hour. First it was an unknown number and when I answer there is classical "hold music", I'm assuming. So i hang up. Then they start calling under anonymous id with the 18004245004 number.. It's harassment at this point!
- TiredofthisbullI called the number back and it's Chase Card services and they were trying to reach a previous employee... So hope that helps.. they said they removed our number...
- Caller: Chase Card Services
- best left unsaidI answer the infamous number by stating politely "Gleneden Mortuary Services". The accented man does not reveal his business associaton and asks if I know a certain person. I informed him that we have many clients and I cannot be sure if he/she has been a client off the top of my head". There was a long pause and he said thank you and hung up. Since threatening and writing letters does not appear to work, then I suggest that you f**K with their minds. Try a legitimate business like a sperm bank, Artic reasearch lab, FBI, Dept of Justice.

- abI have already gotten 4 calls from this number this morning, and i've only been at work for an hour. I don't know who they are calling for (it could be anyone in the company) b/c nobody is ever on the line. Every call comes to my desk first, and then i forward them to the appropriate individuals. But i like the idea of forwarding the call to pizza hut, lol!

- Judy replies to MarinaYour number didn't work. It ask for my full 16 digit account number. Won't talk to me without one.
- ok2bme800-424-5004 60% of the time the person hangs up without saying anything, or will give a false American sounding name and his supervisor will conviently have the same name in Nov. the supervisor said it ws not against the law for them to call me 8-10 time a day which under the Fair Debt Collection Act is illegal and you can file a formal complaint online with the FTC Federal Trade Commission they will fine the company.
- Caller: Chase BAnk
- LHave received multiple calls; have never picked up, no message left, etc. I also have no affliation (that I can fathom) w/ Chase AND I am on the Do Not Call list. I hate to complain and not offer a solution, but hopefully the evidence of all of us suffering will help to bring one about.
- Caller: Chase (through reverse lookup)
