    I just filed a complaint with the FTC. I have been called 15 times in two days, and a message has never been left. When I called the number back, it just said card services, didn't say that it was Chase, and only when I waited for the number to connect me to a rep (I didn't enter my account number) was I told that it was "Chase." I've called Chase many times, and have only been asked to confirm my name and address. This guy asked for the last four digits of my social and my mother's maiden name. He then harassed me about making a payment and rattled off my checking account number and said that he had it right in front of him and he could make a payment right now. If that much was true, he should have known that I only have $23 in my checking account: not enough to cover the $83 I'm being harassed for.

    Calls started within the last week.  Come home everynight from work with at least 3 caller ids.  When I finally did answer I didn't give them a chance to talk or identify themselves.  This is a scam.  They want your 16 digit card #.  I've reemed them twice so far today asking them for their 16 digit #, last name, are the married, dob, childern and spouse's name.  Asked them to remove my tele# from their list. Informed them it was Father's day in the states and didn't appreciate an 8:30 AM wake up call on a Sunday Morning. If it's that important leave a message. I refused to give my name or any other information.

    Do what I do with these telemarketing/collections calls.

    I have my calls go to a cellular phone.  I program all of these calls to come up on the screen as "COLLECTIONS-xx", where the xx is a two digit number (I get a lot of collections calls unfortuately).  I then program these numbers to ring silent, that is, I never hear the phone ring.

    I still get the calls, but they don't interrupt my dinner, sleep, sex, etc. :]]]

    I also receive several calls from 1 800 424 5004 each day. I have a delinquent chase account. But prior to the economic downfall in the world I was never called. I could be 2-3 months behind with no form of contact outside of a reminder letter. Once the collapse happened I began getting calls 2 weeks prior to my due date reminding me it was due! Seemed like the banks spent more money to remind people to pay rather than wait and see who would pay or not. I found that to be very annoying and intrusive. Anyone else notice this same behavior?

    Call log for last two days:
    7/8: 12:05, 11:34, 8:42;
    7/7: 8:19 p, 8:05, 7:54, 7:43, 3:28, 1;00, 11;22 a, 9:16, with numerous previously.  Ironically, we do NOT have a Chase account nor owe them any money.  Such intrusions are abusive and ridiculous!!!!!!!!1

    After many calls from this number, I called my provider, who verified that it was a Chase Bank number and she put me in touch with a live body. He asked for my account number and I told him I didn't have a Chase account. He inquired about a store charge - again, not me. He asked for my SSN and I said no way, that is a scammer's tactic. He finally settled for my name and phone number being called. He ascertained that it was for somebody else with the same last name, and said he would take me off of the list. In summary, it is a legitimate number for a legitimate purpose. Pursue it through your phone company to get to a live body and that person seemed reasonable, in my case.

    Unfortunately I had a card with them 2 years ago. I told someone from Chase that called me that I hate dealing with them and I am going to get a loan to pay them off so I won't have to deal with them anymore. It's only about $500. They keep calling anyways. I would say I get about 10 calls from them a day, no exaggeration.

    They do the same thing to me. They will tell you your bank account number and try to get you to make a payment. I had to refuse 3 or 4 times before they would stop.

    they call about 10 times a day. it's obviously on autodial because the voicemail they leave is cutoff (the recording starts once the call goes to voicemail) it took me forever to figure out what number to call them back on, i finally called the number 800-654-9230 and waited until it went to a person. they asked my name (refused to give) account# (don't have one) and social security # (refused to give). I gave them the phone number they are calling me at and said to take it off whatever list they have because i don't have an account with them. they asked if i knew so and so i said no and then they asked me to confirm the # so it could be removed and after i did they hung up on me. nice customer service.

    I've been plagued by countless calls from this number and requested they remove my phone number from their list (as I believed they were telemarketers)and even threatened to report them to no avail.

    I just called them back, bypassing the automation by putting in a series of zeros when asked for my account number until I got a live rep.  I asked what company they were and they are in fact Chase card collections.  I told the rep that I do not have a Chase credit card or have anything to do with Chase.  The rep told me the name of the person they were trying to reach which happens to be the guy who lives in the apartment above mine. Because he has an unlisted phone number, I'm guessing they're trying to track him down by phone numbers linked to his home address.  Unfortunately, as this is a multi-family dwelling, it happens to also be my address as well as others.  The rep apologized and said he will report the number and have it removed. Keeping my fingers crossed!

    I have been getting a call from this number since last Monday, 10 times a day. I goggled the number and found this site. I have read through some of the posts but am still annoyed they kept calling! They did finally leave a message saying they were from card services? and gave me a number to call them back. I called the number and they asked for my account number before even saying who they were. I entered all zeros and they told me that was invalid and sent me to an operator. i talked to an operator who finally said they were with Chase but told me they couldn't say why they called till I gave them my account number. I told them I didn't trust the call, I was going to report them, I wouldn't give it to them my account number because banks wouldn't ask for my account like that. I told them to take me off their phone list and hung up. They are still calling...

    I also called Chase to make sure that nothing was wrong with my account and told them about the call. The lady at Chase did help me fill out a feed back letter that hopefully someone will see and try to investigate. I plan on contacting my phone provider to block the call... hopefully that works, I am also going to see if there are any other ways to report it.
