- k replies to Galactic_eyesbecause you have a recycle number...that number might have been that lady before you got it.
- Sean replies to Tom HudsonHmm, I don't think it will help your cause if you suddenly get a notice to appear in court due to a lawsuit for making someone go deaf on the phone. =P
- Susan in MissouriMan with very strong "New Jersey" accent asked to speak to Craig and Susan (my last name) When I told him he had the wrong number since there is no Craig. He quoted me an address saying he was trying to contact people there. It was not my address. Never heard of it before. I told him again he had the wrong number and he was horribly rude. He would not tell me why he was calling but said he was with NCO Financial.
- Caller: NCO Financail
- AquamanJust got a call from a "Linda Waterman". Never gave a company name, just said to call with a claim number of such-n-such. Called the number and was greeted by a man from a company named MCL Financial Solutions. When asked what services they offered... he replied, "Umm... I'm sorry, what can I do for you??" I again asked what services they provide and he said "umm... could you hold please?". I hung up and got an immediate return phone call. As soon as I answered the phone I made this statement, "Please be informed that this call is being recorded for legal purposes." They immediately hung up without a word. Please do the same with these folks and say it everytime they call. It won't take but a call or two for these guys to cease contact. Good luck.

- StepSomeone called at 8:30 on a Saturday morning saying they were looking for a relative. The person they were looking for was NOT a relative of mine.
- Caller: NCO Financial
- TCalled a business switch board asking for employment verification on an employee that hasn't worked here in 2 years. Hopefully they will not call again, but the guy on the other end of the phone did speak English and acted professionally. This is not my typical experience with this company, but in this instance the caller wasn't bad.
- mrscarlisleThis is crazy. I received two phone calls within 2 minutes of each other on two seperate lines in my home.
My husband and I manage an apartment complex and have a designated business line for the complex that rings in our apartment home. I took the first call (caller ID said Toll Free)on this line and politely informed the gal that this was a business and that I knew no one by the name she stated. I confirmed the number she was calling was that of the business and she said she'd remove the number from her database. Next, not a full minute after we'd finished our 45 second call, my home phone rings. The caller ID said NCO Financial and suprisingly, I answered. SAME GAL looking for the same guy-- not a name I've ever heard in my life. She didn't ask me for any other information, but it was the same caller. I don't know how they got either of our numbers and googled the number and landed here. Sounds like they are a company to watch out for! - upset and sick of it replies to Collection Agency Watch| 3 repliesWe do actually owe the debt that they are trying to collect but we are in the process of working with the original debter. When NCO was told about the situation they became irate and have now called between 4 and 9 times a day. Nasty voice messages and they even try to call from out of area numbers. I can not beleive that they are still in business and are allowed to treat people like this.
- FIXCONWE RECEIVED A CALL, THEY ASKED FOR JAMES, I ASKED JAMES WHO? AND THEY HUNG UP ON ME. I CALLED 1-800-448-9570 AND RECORDING SAID NCO FINANCIAL, I WAITED FOR THE OPERATOR AND HUMG UP ON HER.
- Caller: NCO FINANCIAL
- Mazii800-448-9570 was on my caller ID 3 times within a 5 minute period. Caller left VM stating it was NCO, "confidential" message to attempt to collect debt, but never said name of person they were looking for. Provided callback number 888-899-5920.
Called back the 888 number and spoke to a (surprisingly) nice gentleman who asked if I got the call at the number I was calling from, and then was able to advise me the last name of the couple they were calling for, which are persons unknown to me, but I get their debt collection calls constantly (this was first one from NCO though). I advised him I don't know them, and he apologized and said he would remove my number from their account, and I feel fairly confident that he truly did that.
I also dealt with NCO a few years back and they were, as previous post state, very rude and unprofessional every time. This gentleman was the exact opposite.- Caller: NCO Financial

- FMI got a call today from this numer 800.448.9570 at 12:56pm. I didn't answer, never have never will answer 800 numbers unless they leave a voicemail with CORRECT information. They didn't leave a message at all.
I decided to Google their number and found this, just to my luck, that the people calling are [***]. Im amazed that they have my cell phone number, and I am wondering how they received it.
Honestly, my mother receives phone calls from "Debt Collectors" as well, but she never answers and they always leave a message with their name, an inaudible company name, a ref# and to call back immediately because it's urgent. She never does.
Maybe next time they call I will answer as if Im a secretary at my Lawyers company name and use the "this call will be monitored for legal and training purposes" and see what these people will do. - sacI received a call saying "This is a contact number I have for Adam. My name is Joseph. Please contact my office immediately." And that was IT - now I don't know any Adam, they did NOT identify a company and did NOT leave a call back number so how exactly am I supposed to contact Joseph immediately? This is ridiculous!
- shellyThis 800 number calls me on my unlisted number over and over- if I pick up the call, no one ever answers and this is very very annoying- why consumers can't get rid of unwanted callers, I don't know! I want to block this caller from ever calling me again. Is that so much to ask in this technological world? Why can't the phone company create a way to block these scam artists? They abuse our communications systems and it's just WRONG!! They're crooks!
- feed upThey called me trying to fish around for information as well ask me what my name was i asked them who they were looking for the asked for me and i said ok the guy got an attitude and started being completely rude when i asked him what was his purpose for calling. They continue to call my cell phone daily im tired of it. ive aske don multiple occasions to be removed from there list and i still recieve calls from them. this is harrasment. you should call asking for someone and then hang up when they ask you questions you cant answer. Im honestly affraid to answer my phone for any number i dont recognize.
- Call type: Debt collector
- jackI get messages on my answering machine asking for Joe or Joseph and Anna. I puposely changed my message to give my full name which is not Joe or Joseph hoping that would stop this, but they leave messages anyway. Obviously they are looking for someone else, since I have a common last name. I yelled and screamed at these people one and told them they have the wrong number. I hope someone can stop them
- ten10pieThey r calling me and leaving msg but I have no debts!!!

- IanI keep getting random calls from these people trying to collect a debt for ITT Technical Institute. I do owe a debt to ITT but it's not what NCO is claiming it is. First time they called was a year ago a month after I left school saying I owed ITT just under $6000. Told them that's what 3 classes cost and that I only had one class. Debt is actually a little under $2000. Just got a call today from them saying that my debt to ITT is $17000. Tried to have them explain how the debt keeps going up and they didnt' have anything other than my name, number, and account. They keep calling my cell phone which is on the Do Not Call list and is never listed on anything but official military documents. Contacted a JAG officer about this and was told to record all calls. NCO always hangs up as soon as I state that all calls are being recorded and... they never hear that they are going to be turned over to a lawyer. Guess it makes them feel safer if they don't hear it. I would advise everyone to record the calls and turn them over to a lawer if they keep harassing you.

- FiddlefootI have become convinced that Sprint is selling me out. I got so many calls from these bozos (and others) that I changed my cell phone number. Only gave the number to 4 people, but started getting calls from them again less than a week later. I do owe credit card debt and got my pay cut 40%. I'll pay them, but I can't now. Man what a mistake, but these people are real [***].
Oh yeah, The only way I know the number to see it when it rings. Afterward in the call history it changes to 419- Call type: Debt collector
