- meI replies to Lizzy| 1 replyI got exactly the same weird guy and laughing girl when I tried to call them. The guy kept saying he couldn't find my records even though I gave him my number. This is creepy and it's bizarre that we can't get a straight answer out of Bell.
- Bell| 4 repliesI m working in this dep..and i can assure you that its bell canada
- Caller: Bell canada
- Call type: Debt collector
- DLNumber 1-800-477-9205 keep calling on my cellphone like 5 times a day, leaving no messages, though I do not pick up. And I am NOT with Bell for any of my services. I don't know how to make it stop...
- LDBell from 24 June 2009, let's have your Bell Employee ID number so we can have a check on you. Then every word you mutter will be a little more believable....
- Jman6 calls a day.... And I'm not even with bell ... How to stop this BS
- What the HELL BELL !!!!that number just called my CELL and it was a girl with an indian accent.
she said that I have an outstanding payment of 150, So I got very frusrated and told her that I called BELL three weeks ago if NOT more and made a pre-authorized payement... then she kept repeating herself like a broken record saying that you have an outstanding payment of 150 .. then I explained myself AGAIN then she hanged up
I will call BELL this afternoon to see what the deal is- Caller: What the HELL BELL !!!!
- -megsss-This number called my house this morning and asked for my dad. I said that he's not home right now but I can take a message. The woman on the phone said there was no message but she gave me a phone number, I then asked for a name that I could leave with the number and she got really snippy. No name, you don't need it, just the number she said. Well I called the number back from our caller ID system and it was Bell Canada, but the number she gave me was 1-800-477-9205. I immediately searched the number on google. Someone here mentioned that they work in that department? And that it's not a scam? Well then why would she refuse a name if there wasn't a message. Union gas has something similar going on. Scam artists I tells ya.
- ChickHipsI keep getting calls from this number and refuse to answer them. They call me up to 5 or more times a day. Sometimes back to back within minutes or hours of each other. It is irritating and unnecessary.
I wish I could block this number from my cell...grrr- Caller: Bell Canada (I think)
- justmeandmygirlsThis number continuously calls me 4-5 times a day. Now I do have overdue accounts with bell, and everyone else and their dog lol. I do not answer the phone for any reason unless I know the caller ID. I also am not going to get scammed as I do not use credit cards. It is very annoying for this number to call me as they do not leave a message. (all of my other bill collectors do leave messages)

- CrisI had the number call me 15 times since 9am and it called my husband 8 times since am and the credit services agent basically stated that I was a lunatic as my one-bill acct hasn't been called. So...through more investigation...I found out that Bell didn't properly close a previous cell acct and now I'm on the hook. The 80 #, I guess as no one in credit would deal with me (I was hung up on 3 times), was calling about my old bill instead of my 1 bill..and no one will help me. I have very irate and will be contacting my lawyer as 23 calls is harrasment and when I answer the call ends promptly....and even better there seems to be no record about the calls except on my phone.
- Caller: Bell
- RJI've had 15 calls from this number since Sept 1 but haven't been lucky enough to be around to answer.
Interesting to note that 3 of these calls made it to the answering machine. The first message had an angry male voice saying something in another language while another female voice kept saying "Hello" as if answering the same call. A week later there were another two messages in the same day with a person saying "Hello" only.
This morning the phone rang once, a longer than usual pause before the 2nd ring then the 3rd etc till the answering machince picked up but no message was left. Beginning to wonder if something fishy going on here??
I have no bill/credit problems with Bell and no other weird phone problems. - ihatebell| 1 replyI just recently moved and of course had my services disconnected with bell telephone and internet. I also had a laptop deal with them as well. When I made the disconnection with Bell I told them that I would be late on paying the final bill because of the move and financial difficulties and the person was very understanding. When I called them back to give them my new address and phone number the rep was really rude with me and told me I had till the next day to pay the account in full. I told him that it was impossible and I wouldn't be able to for another 2 weeks, he insisted I pay and ..the funny part....continuously threatened me that my services I recieve from bell will be suspended...duh!!I kept telling him that I don't have services from bell any longer...but he kept saying " but sorry mam if you don't pay you will be suspended....like wtf? Apart from being hard to understand to begin with there was no way this guy was going to listen to what I had to say. I hate bell and always have, they are rude and I could say many other things. They no they are big and can manipulate anyone especially if they are the only ones that provide the services in the area. I have gotten the calls from those numbers already and when I answer it hangs up. I'm thinking that as long as someone answered it's good for them. I don't know, but I'm so happy to not have to deal with them anymore. I also have to say that Bell Canada does not deserve to have Canada in it!!!
- K| 1 replyuse bell call blocking to block bell collection
- Adam replies to Trish| 21 repliesHey-
Has anyone check their bills after actually answering these calls? Could be a cheap way for Bell to make $1/minute off airtime. I'm looking into a possible class action if that is the case. I'm sick of the harassment. - calisto replies to Brian R| 1 replyit's bell collection departement // do 310bell // then ask for late bill & aks them the phone # // you'll see it the truth
