- LHave received calls from this company for 2 weeks and they leave no message. Looked them up on reverse call and found they try to sell things saying they work for Google hiring people from home. Folks, if it sounds too good to be true, know it is fraud.
I called these people back and warned them about calling me again. Tomorrow I will be calling the Attorney General in Utah about them.- Caller: Pacific Webworks

- Dawn replies to LizI'm a victim of the scam also. My question is, after you make the cancellation is it over and done with? I'm skeptical about them charging me again anyways.
- MandaI called to see who it was, and got the message 'hi, you've reached our corporate office'. WHOSE corporate office, I don't know. Like they don't even say, and even still, don't leave a message. Seriously, if they want to scam, be smarter than that and leave a message if you want it to be a convincing scam. Who would even attempt to take them seriously if they don't leave a voicemail?
- Caller: None
- Wink| 1 replyI have received charges from this company work at home online, this is very sad that companies get your personal information and charges on your credit card form 1.95- 69.99 without any warning.

Where do they think the common people get money to pay for their fraudulent charges!

rots with them. - SgtMouse| 1 replyI got a call form 1-800-497-4988 and this person says she works for Google.com themselves. I could hear the TV in the background and people talking. She wanted me to give CC info over the phone for a website I think that is bogus. http://googlecashprofits.info I have contacted Google.com to see if this is true or not. So beware of this number and website.

- Chris| 1 replyI've been getting a call a day from this number for the past week and I have not answered it once. The first two times, they did not leave a message. But more recently they didn't hang up fast enough to NOT leave me an empty voice mail message (4 seconds) with just a small beep sound at the end. Very annoying.
The only stupid thing I remember doing (well in relation to this number anyway =p ) was filling out information for this: http://www.tweet-forcash.com. As soon as I saw the next page (they were asking for credit card info), I knew it was a scam and I quit my browser and cleared my cache. When something sounds too good to be true and you have to pay THEM money, it usually is a scam so, don't be stupid like me and give them ANY info whatsoever. - Christina - Florida| 4 repliesI was scammed as well, I thought I was purchasing the $1.95 kits too. I printed out everything and as I went through their information from the kit. However, upon reading it more throughly, I found the tiny print at the very bottom of the page the charge of $69.90 a month will be charged. And that the address they gave you on the site to cancel all of it did not print out from the site. I had to go back in on the site and copy and paste it to add to my paper work. I then wrote them on March 27, 2009 stating that I did not want to participate in there program and it that their add was extremely misleading and I wanted it cancelled before the next billing. I did not hear from them in any way. It is now going into August, I had to go to my bank (Bank of Amereica) to fill a dispute to get it stopped. But the number I called for DRI8004974988GOOGLE - 800-897-4988 MN is only a recording. Just my luck... The only thing I see is this. Unsuspecting people who are trying to make a little more income because they are already in finacial stress are now targeted by this company putting them under even more stress. How sad it is that they government doesn't take action against this company. Their office is in Las Vegas, the address but the number they give you to call is in Minnesota One person that I read in this same situation has tracked this guy down in under a company that governs the Google Adsense is Pacific Web Works @230 West 400 South Suite 100 Salt Lake City Utah. Their phone number is 801-578-9020. The president is Christian R. Larson. His home address is 873 County Lane, Farmington Utah, 84025. I Hope that the Utah State Attorney General of Utah reads these bits of information and takes action. I am saddened that I did not catch this sooner and realize that even after the letter of cancellation they were still charging me. It has been an expense lesson not to trust anything on the internet even if it sounds like a reputable company.
Thanks for reading ... Christina- Caller: Google Adsense.com
