I just got a call from these guys and they specifically say "I'm calling from Google" not "on behalf of" which would put them out of being truely liable because then they are only representing, not actually stating that they ARE that company, instantly when they asked for money and I said I didn't feel comfortable giving that information over the phone, because I got scammed in the past. He said "oh no this is being recorded (like thats supposed to reassure me) and we can only accept credit and debit cards"  So I logged into Paypal and generated a secure card, Now this guy said it was "only 1.95 for the website they would give me" and made it sound similar to how adsense works, so not wanting to miss out on an opportunity that might be genuine, I gave him the information to the secure card. He already had all my name address and all that so I couldn't prevent him from having that anyway. But with a secure card if it's fradulent, you can get your money back through paypal within 45 days.  Well I knew I had at least 1.95 in there and he tells me it's comming back declined! I told him there is no way it could. I was looking at the amount in it right now and that if it was declining then he was charging more than the amount in there, and therefore more than what he said he would be.  I tell him to get his mgr. and he says "ok I'll get to my mgr. and I'll call you back, please be waiting for my call".  Now I come here and see this so I went back to paypal and canceled the card, and figured that wold be the end of it, he'd never call back anyway, well guess what?! The moron calls back!  Says it's cleared, here is my confirmation number and my access to the website blah, blah, blah. But this time he sadi this is ..mumble... from Google ATM and that I heard clearly. the first time he clearly said he was calling from Google, period!  If ever you suspect anything may be fishy, or you just don't want to take a chance with your real card numbers out there over the internet, just use the secure card plugin feature from Paypal, or any other trusted company that has that kind of service.

At least then you will be relatively safe, and one use cards are perfect for this. They can only be charged to once!

I wrote an email to the Utah district Attorney Ms. Lohra Miller but have not heard back from her.

Go to http://www.districtattorney.slco.org/ and contact Ms. Lohra Miller may be when she get enough complains she will do her DUTY and put the officer of this SCAM to prison.

I did not receive a call. I signed up for a 2.95 google home business kit. No where in the add or sign up did they say they were going to take a monthly fee out after that (79.90). I cancelled my debit card so they cannot do anymore damage. They are a very fraudulent, deceiving company. That # is the # for technical support in setting up your business. Those guys do a lot of things with that #. You would think the authorities would shut them down.

Keeps calling and when I answer it hangs up

This is a scam!  You sign up to make money on GOOGLE CASH, but; they only give you a 7 day trial for $1.95.  In fine print (that I found no where) they say that after the 7 days they will charge your credit card automatically $69.99 every month.  So, if you actually find the fine print, remember cancel your membership before the 7 day trial is over......

I hope you canceled your mother's credit card immediately and reported the FRAUD to Salt Lake City District Attorney Ms. Miller.

This number has been callin me non stop. i tried callin the corporate office. I wont call the 800 number back. when the 800 number calls i say hello and they hang up. They dont have any credit card info. and besides, the only credit cards i have are pre paid and i never keep money on the card unless im going to use it. then use the money right away. If you are gonna buy things over the internet i HIGHLY suggest getting a pre paid credit card. You can get them from almost any store. like walmart, walgreens rite aid, cvs, longs, target, kmart, and many others. the cards usually cost about 10 bucks and u have to wait a couple weeks for ur card with your name on it to show up. But after that its easy to add money to the card. and much safer then having idiots like this still ur life. Good luck to everyone who has been scammed. They can try to make my credit bad...
