they call EVERY day, sometimes several times.  recording leaves messages.  this is a business and we have never done business with them.  apparently they have the wrong phone number.  i call them to tell them but you have to enter your account number.  since i don't have one, i can't get to talk to a person to tell them to stop.

does anyone know how i can get them to stop?

Hey... I work at that call center from where you are receiving calls. And i know that person Kevin. Yes he is Indian and even i am an Indian. I do understand you have problems giving out your name to some strangers because of 'identity theft', your country faces that problem a lot. I do understand all that. What i suggest you to do is just tell them to stop calling and also tell them that the person they are looking for is not you, dont tell your name, its okay. They may call you again. Tell them again. At max the third time they will stop for sure and remove the number from the list. 100% guaranteed. And coming back to issue with Kevin, i will talk to him about this. And thank you so  much for providing his batch number i will track him down.

I've only recently decided to work on credit with JC Penny's yet, they haven't given me a chance to pay and I have already begun receiving calls. I am paying this up for I am frustrated with these people. You can bet that someone is forcing their way into the higher debt interest rates ahead of time. Harassments

I get calls every morning about 8:15 am just as I am getting reaady for work. I do not answer and they do not leave a message. Today (Saturday) they called before 8 am, at 11 am, and just now at 12:30. My payment to penneys is not due until the middle of September. I intend to cancel my account with penneys because of this harassment. I reported them to DNC but that has not worked. I do not owe penneys anything.

This number has called my house about 15 to 20 times a day and when we answer it, they hang up!  We tried to call it back but are unable to contact anyone without a code.  What the hell do we do?!

They do call all the time.  We don't pick up on numbers we don't recognize, but it is a doggone nuisance,;  same with GE Money....nuisance, nuisance, nuisance!!!

This in fact is GE-Money doing collections for JC Penney. There was a problem with a payment of mine I made over the phone. Even though they have my e-mail address and home phone they waited for 8 days to start harassing me with many phone calls. If they really wanted the lousy $20 why do they block their identity on the caller ID and why don't they leave any kind of message?

Calling them back was not fun either as the person I spoke with did not speak very good English.
Another good example of outsourcing jobs to India while there are so many Americans without jobs and are losing their homes.

I've been sick in been all day today and heard the phone ringing... Looked on my called i.d.  to find out they started calling at 8;00am. They  have called me already 4xs and it's only NOON.  Yes I am late on my payment.. but come on at what point is this harrassment?

They have now called my house 3 times today and it is only a little after noon. I have a suggestion for them....first, leave a message so we know who you are. Second, look at your f"ing web site so you can see that my bill is paid and up to date.

I don't even HAVE a JCPENNY CARD.

I called and after pounding on 0 for operator, it asked me for my social. Yeah [***] right!

I googled and called JCPenny and told them what was up. They said it was a typo and they deleted my number.

Then I get a call the next day at 5pm. Is some frauding me or not!? I'm at a point in my life if someone frauds my ass I'm screwed for LIFE. I'm young enough this will ruin my future.

And it takes YEARS to recovery from credit fraud. I keep throwing away letters for credit cards but I rip them into about 10 pieces at least prior to trashing them. What the hell is going on!

Checked here to see the idenity of who is behind this number.  I do have a Penny's charge, always paid on time but did miss the June payment, just one, and intend to pay the double amount due as noted on the July bill.  They called several times this morning right after 8 am.and also right after 8 am on July 4th.

The number 1-800-527-3369 is a solicitor/scam. I called JCPenney Customer Service to verify the call. They reviewed my account and everything was in order. Do not give your information out on the telephone.

I have been getting 14 calls a day from this number.  I have no idea who they are.  Looking at other posts, it looks like a lot of the calls have to do with JC Penny.  I'm current with them.  I should have a 0 balance.

They are relentless they call every 20 minutes are so, and that is not an exaggeration. At first I thought it was someone I knew looking for me. I don't  even know these people, and I want them to stop calling me.!!!!! I think I'll call them like you did, i'm free tomorrow and since I can't get the nap I need to get better, harassing them make me feel like I'm healing.

All I know is they call me once a week, but I do not answer it. I figure if it is important they will leave a message. I found out it was a landline from Kansas. I will not buy the full report, but here is the link if one needs it,

I am 43, husband is 47 no jobs, but both hold high degrees; when a person in India that we train so perfectly well; comes to the USA, and does not need a degree.  We are outsourcing to China now; how do I know, because this is what my actual Master’s degree is in, Global Organizational Management.  The USA is outsourced and a depression is coming. Stock up, and stay calm. I might be moving to China to pay my bills. JCP well, after all this I am closing my account. Let JCP stocks fall hard; then maybe they will learn.

They call my house non-stop everyday for years now.  I owe them no money. I used to shop at Pennys but NO MORE.  I paid my account off but they want to see if they can scam me for more!  Worse mistake I ever made was dealing with these low-life scum bags.  They can whistle dixie for a penny from me and not get it.  Bottom-feeders, who does this kind of thing?!!

An automated system identifying themselves as GM Credit calling on behalf of JC Penney....I don't have a credit card with JC Penney and will not answer these calls.
