- Tygerkat replies to Montgomery Twp PoliceRight. Sure. Does the "Montgomery Twp Police" post warnings about every number they have under scrutiny?
This is a toll-free number likely spoofed by foreign scammers. What exactly is this "state wide investigation" supposed to reveal? - BlockerScammer - not actually Direct TV - harvesting data - don't pick up, just block them
- MCA nefarious outfit has somehow obtained lines that have this number show up in caller ID. IT IS NOT DIRECTV CALLING. They have been calling me for months and the one and only time I spoke to them it was a person of Pakistani descent and he offered to lower my bill 50%. I knew then and there it was a scam. Directv is aware of this happening. I’ve been with Directv since 1996 and know these calls aren’t legit.

- Hollie| 1 replyNumber came up on caller ID as not provided. Said he was calling about cutting my AT&T bill and that it looks like I currently have service with them. This was the 3rd time I've told them I don't have AT&T and to remove me from their list. I never have had them. I see others have said they stated they were Directv but I also don't have them. I'm starting to think this is a scam.

- Henny Bogan| 2 repliesCID UNAVAILABLE. No voicemail on my unpublished DNC LAN line. don't answer or return unknowns.
SPOOF AT&T #. 36 year customer, AT&T uses CID.- Caller: UNAVAILABLE
- To Smart For ScammersLook people, this is not direct TV. There is a direct TV scam going on. They tell you when you pick up, some line of crap either for service or some bill way in the past just so they get your credit card number and other personal information. Never answer these types of calls with any business because they can spoof a number. If you pick up by accident, hang up on them right away and call your bank number, cable number, direct tv/dish network or any other number. Don't trust any phone call that comes through and call the numbers you know on your bills. If everyone knew this, the scammers would be out of business.
- SSCalled about an account number Left another number that is suspicious as well.
- Caller: ATT

- MikeAnswered call and no one there, they called later same day and left no voice message. So I blocked the number on my house phone.
- Caller: Unkno
- Tom replies to HollieDirecTV and AT&T are partners when it comes to some services
. - Mimi HaynesI've seen posts that this is a Direct TV number. I've NEVER had DIrect TV (or any other satellite service). The person on the other end won't answer after I say "Hello" and the connection can't be broken for a full 30 seconds, even after I hang up and try to call out. I dialed *69 to get the number but when I try to call it, says not in service. Pretty sure it's a spam call
- Caller: Don't know
- Call type: Silent call
- MikeWhoever or whatever is behind class from this number woke me up at 8:36 on a Saturday morning. I get up at 5:00 am during the week so I like to sleep in on weekends. More important when the phone rings that early in the morning I automatically think the worst.
Called ID said unavailable. I don't answer calls that don't indentify the caller. They didn't leave a message. So annoying.- Caller: Unavailable
- Mark CWow, it's 8:30 AM on January 2nd, and the bad guys are already at work. As others have reported here, caller ID "UNAVAILABLE"; no message left on voice mail.
- Caller: ?
- berniecalled while I was on the phone, did not leave a message.
- ScottI have NEVER had their service. I do not want their service. But, I get occasional calls from them. I blocked them, but the blocker still shows they called. F THEM...
- Caller: Directv
- AnnoyedCalled, left no message.
- Caller: "TOLL FREE CALL"
- GayleReceived a call from this number today. After a minute of someone with very broken English saying can you hear me, how are you, etc. which usually comes with most of these spam calls I get, the person finally said I’m calling because you have DirectTV. I said no, I don’t, and he said OK have a nice day! Obviously they’re spoofing DirectTV’s number and hoping to call people who actually do have DirectTV to get information from them.

- LMLThis number called my DNC-listed landline today at 1252 hours. I ignored it and let the fax machine pick up on it because 99% of all calls I get on my landline are scam artists. Others report the caller alleges to be calling from Direct TV. However, I have never had Direct TV and I'm pretty sure a big company like that knows better than to call people on the DNC list, so I suspect it's a spoof call phishing for information. In other words, it's likely yet another scam artist.
- Caller: Likely spoof/phishing call
- mooonpiRepeated hangup calls. I have never had Direct TV
