I did not answer a call from an unknown number. They did not leave a message. Probably a spam call. Blocked. I have never had Direct TV.

Didn’t answer, just hung up

Called and left a message about MY Direct TV account.  I do not have and have never had Direct TV.  Guy (with an accent) talking could barely read his script, stumbling over words, long pauses and couldn't even finish before recording time on my voice mail ran out.  If this isn't a scam it is the absolute worst telemarketing attempt I've ever heard. Caller ID didn't even identify as Direct TV but as "Toll Free Call."

although the number is a directTV number, this is not directTV calling. scammers are using this number to make it look like directTV is calling so folks will answer and give them personal account information. DO NOT give these people ANY personal information. if it really is directTV, they will know this information already.

No message left.  Second call in as many days.  I don’t even have Direct TV.

Scammers spoofing the Direct TV toll free number to scam back braces

First time call from this number, but I have all 8xx numbers blocked, anyway.  Since AT&T bought DirecTV, it has been going down hill.  I'm contemplating dropping them because of their poor programming, and high billing.  Spammers could very well be spoofing this number.  I've had similar spams and scams using other big company numbers.  None the less, I don't answer 8xx numbers.

I don't have DTV so it wouldn't do any good to offer free anything, but they didn't leave a message so I don't know what treasure I missed out on.  PLEASE!  PLEASE CALL ME BACK!!  I WANT MY FREE MTV !

CID: "Direct Trucking"  Actually pressed the button to bypass my call blocker and then failed to leave a message. I've been with DirecTV/ USSB since 1994. They NEVER give anything "for free!" If they do this again and fail to leave a message, "Direct Trucking" or "DirecTV" will be permanently blocked, and I DO NOT answer ANY call that does not leave a message first.

I don’t have Direct TV!  I’ve had cable for years.  Even Verizon flagged the call as Spam.  No problem, BLOCKED!

I just received a call form this number. The caller hung up when the answering machine picked up. From the number of comments, this has to be a widespread scam.
