I've never subscribed to DirecTV, yet I'm assuming that it was that company that called my mobile phone. (My phone displayed the number and "No Name".) It shouldn't even be possible to call FROM a toll-free area code.

Why shouldn't it?

It keeps calling me. It called me 2 times yesterday 1/15/18, and its called me 3 times just this morning. 1/16/18.  When I answer nobody answers me. I hear someone but they don't say anything.

They are identifying themselves as DirectV, but they are NOT DirecTV. I work for them and they could not answer basic questions and hung up when I pressed. This is a scam

They called, left no message, 8:15 a.m.  I do not even have a TV, have never had any dealings with them.

Beware!!!  Possible Indian scammer hacking caller ID to pose as Directv.  I called Directv back, and they said the call I received didn't come from them which is why I'm glad I didn't answer any of their questions or do their survey.  If you get this call, call Directv back at this number, and put a password on your account if you're worried someone hacked your account.

Don't answer calls from numbers I don;t know. They didn't leave a message so it must have been a scammer.

Distant-sounding voice; man with south Asian accent asked about my Direct TV service. Very muffled and hard to understand. I said I don't have Direct TV, and he said, "I can't hear you." I hung up and blocked the number.

Called me direct on my desk phone. I of course don't have a direct tv at work so there's no need for them to be calling me.  They didn't answer or play a recording. Hung up on me.

This is a scam.   They claim they are with AT&T DirectTV and running a partnership with Amazon.  They want you to pay with Amazon Gift card.    They are NOT really associated with DirectTV.  It's amazing they can spoof DIRECTV on the caller ID

"amazing"?  Not really, Caller ID Spoofing has been around for a long time.  Look it up.

Left no message, and if its direct tv then they better check the do not call list because i am on it and will report them

spoofed number can't block it. Fool calling from ???? scam!!!

This is DTV phone number, and someone else is using it to ,make scam calls. I notified DTV, and reported to DNC, but I doubt that anyone can/will do anything. Just answer and tell the idiot how much you appreciate the call.
