Received messages at my place of employment stating that it was personal.  The callers did not wish to leave a message or voice message.  Identified themselves as Linda Dawson and Odell King.
I called the number and got a recording from Macy's.  If they cannot leave a voice message stating their identity, I cannot make a payment.  Screw you Macy's.  Now you get nothing

Never had any defaults or even a Macys CC , Need to remove asaP.

I got a call from this # I didn' t answer but I went on the internet to check out the # and I see from all of you it was probaly for the best Because I don't have a Macy's card and I got a call from this #. Be careful so much bad stuff going on.

then why don't you say that from the start?!?!  They left a message with no company name, no way to check the number on Macy's website.  five days after missing one payment in years!  They didn't even wait for me to get the next bill to realize that my bank screwed up (yes, the bank not me!)  Macy's should review this policy because it is going to get a lot of people angry very quickly.

I got a call from this number. I have never had a Macy's account nor will ever get one after all this info on here. not sure why they called my house. My husband doesnt have a card either.

they left message after 8 seconds of silence , sound like an a scam to me  the message was "This is regarding and important business matter"

the guy just called my house, it was a middle eastern fellow, indian by the sound of him, he said his name was Dean Williamson, the caller ID was from Mason OH im doing a full search now

Recieved call from (513) 573-7978.  Person had middle eastern accect.  Ask for my wife to call (800) 545-1256 on a personal matter.

I've received this call twice, and deleted it both times without calling back. They simply state that they have an important business matter.

This company is harrassing me about a payment that is not due.  I'm sure it's a scam.

the 800 545 1256 and 727 556 5492 belong to HCL technologies which is a company contracted by Macys. i've been getting calls from the 727 for almost a week at least 4 times a day. i decided to call Macys customer service and asked them if they're aware of HCL and what the nature of relationship between Macys and HCL is. the answer was that the person I called (800 number from Macys website) was of HCL.  I forgot to make a payment the lasy cycle and this company is trying to collect your payment over the phone. Although it seems they're legit, i have zero trust in Macy's and the way they share its acount holders information. Payoff and then cancel/close your account. that's what I'm doing.

I just received the same call. The thing is, I have NOT missing a payment, just checked my Macys account online and it is all good!

I received phone calls everyday at my work. Please I don't want you to keep calling at my job, And I would appreciate to call my cellphone or at work but not on my working days. I would be appreciated that not to call my work at all.

Yea, some guy just called here and said to have my family call them back. He was horrifically rude and I told him to change his attitude, have a merry christmas and maybe santa will call him. :)

Caller was rude, abrupt and short.  Not appreciated during the holidays.  Will be making a formal complaint.

Santa might get mad and choke him for being rude to people.

No this is no a scam, they have four offices. if you dnt have ant acct your phone # could have belonged to someone their having a hard time geting in touch with. if u get the india center just ask for someone in the us

Cnt leave msgs for security reasons and by law. That is macys calling you.
