800-600-1228

I received two calls 10 minutes apart today on sunday from this number. Its a scam and I don't answer any 800 numbers no matter who they are. No real company calls on a sunday anyway. Why cant the cops/feds bust people like this?  They have to have a  site/residence of some kind to have a 800 number im sure the feds could find them!  Im pissed of if I ever found out who these people are id take a sledge hammer to there fingers... they would never program a computer or dial a phone again and if they did they would think twice of scamming anyone!!!!

1 800 600 1228. Says it is Verizon. Wants you to go to page to collect it. Several posts about it is scam.

I was warned by Verizon this is a scam

They have been calling all day.  No messages left.  I did answer once and the robo offered me $213.00 off my next Verizon bill.  R they serious??????????  We are on the "Do Not Call" registery as well.  I tried to call back and the operator said the call could not be placed from my area.  How can we block these scammers?  

Same thing. A robocall promising me $200 off my Verizon Wireless bill if I went to their website. Of course, I don't even have Verizon anymore.

Today is Sunday, Nov. 3. I, too, received a call at 4:16 PM.

I got the same call it was a recorded msg too offering me $203dls towards my next bill what a bs.

Ditto to all of the comments posted. Both my husband and I were called First. I never answer calls from an unknown source!  If its  not in my contacts, I don't answer. If they want me to respond they'll leave a message and 9 times out of 10 I don't return the call!   The holiday season is approaching so I can only imagine what kind of scams we will all be hit with. Stay on your toes folks its an evil world we live in.

vzw153.com is registered anonymously, for one year. Verizon wouldn't do that. Scammers do:

Received two calls from this 800 number asking me to go to vzw213.com to receive $213 off my next months Verizon bill..Ummm, NOPE, not gonna happen. I turned right around and called Verizon Wireless and reported all the info to them and asked Verizon to set up a block on all my phones for that 800 #. SCAM...DO NOT log into any site they ask you to!

I received a call just a few minutes ago from this number.  It went to voice mail and it said, "$213 dollars and we value you as a customer".  It wasn't a complete message, but the caller ID came thru as Verizon.

Two calls received on a Sunday (at dinnertime, no less) on my cell phone.  I don't have, and never have had, Verizon.

It's a total scam.  Don't pick up.  Add the number to your address book under SPAM or SCAM.  

Last, but not least, report this and all scammers immediately to www.donotcall.gov.

How STUPID can you get to keep trying the same thing over and over again?

Where is our Federal Law Enforcement / Justice Departments with all of these scams?

Verizon won't care. They make money from these calls even if they're bogus.

I just two calls from 800-600-1228 20 mins apart. When I tried to call it back Verizon (my cell carrier) couldn't complete the call. No message was left but to be calling me on a Sunday evening when I'm trying to spend time with family is unacceptable.

I have received so many calls from this scam and it is horrible. I looked at the website and it looks like Verizon, be careful!

Yep, two calls on my cell. A few minutes apart. I guess they figure we will think it must be someone legit who really needs to reach us. Hah!  I never, ever, ever give my cell number to businesses. When I give it to a friend or relative I enter their contact name. I do not have voicemail on this cell phone (I requested that it not be activated) because I do not want to have to deal with voicemail. If a friend calls and I miss it, I'll see they called, and I'll call back. Anyone else, it can't be anyone I want to hear from. I do google these criminal (because that's what they are) scammer spammer numbers out of curiosity just to make sure I correctly assumed it was a scam. And I'm never wrong! Even about good ol' Carlott(a) Tincati of New York!

I got a call from 1 800 600 1228 saying to go to my website and redeem my $193

got the same number calling twice on Sunday (yesterday 11/3).
