YES IT IS A HOAX!!!!  I called Verizon to find out what the heck was going on.  The rep took the number and added it to their data base.

Got this call again today. They have called several times using this and other numbers. Claim I have a credit for AT&T or Verizon. My phone is not with either carrier. THESE CALLS ARE A SCAM!!

Keep getting calls from this number. How can I get it to stop? Verizon should atleast do something so that number cant come through.

My Hubby and I have gotten calls from this "verizon" thing several times and and really getting tired of them, especially when we have T mobile

I received 4 calls from this number in my last month billing cycle. One of the calls came while I was creating a text and got thru.  I heard a male recording stating Verizon...   When I went back thru the itemized online list of phone numbers on my detailed usage at MyVerizon, this number wasn't on there.  Why?  Could it really be from a Verizon number or a Verizon employee be the scammer?  I have now blocked it - let's see if it works.

It is a scam ...they want u to go to vzw511.com to get ur credit . I spoke to Verizon and they said that is not their numbers. BEWARE OF SCAMMERS TRYING TO GET UR INFO.

Called my phone on November 1st, 20 minutes apart and I posted it on here.  Just got two more calls, 20 minutes apart tonight from the same number.

Seriously Dick?  Getting an unwanted call is annoying but no more so than your commentary

Same EXACT thing happened to me. First on Nov 1, then today.

If you log into that site, they access your Verizon account, change all the types of phones that you have, reset all of your plans and make international calls that are charged to your account

Telling me they are taking two amount out of my checking one of 179dollares and one of 150dollars

as the other callers mentioned, 2 calls 20 minutes apart. I'm in the middle of having fun in casino, no way i will pick this up. Rule of thumb: any suspicious numbers = no pick up

Repeated unwanted phone calls.  Fraud.  Involves Verizon.

I received 3 more call from this number on my cellphone within 20 minutes of each other again yesterday. There was no message left when I didn't answer. This looks like another phishing scam to me.

I got a call to my "obama cell phone",,,i'm disabled and old and low income,,,,,on November 3rd 2013..I didn't answer,,,Foreign sounding guy left the following message:   I really do care about you.Thank You and have a nice Day.Just scammers eating up my "lifeline",,minutes..I get 250 minutes a month.Looked the number up and found you all here...Thanks everyone for your info,,,All we have is each other,,against these scammers.

I agree with you. Where in the love of God is the FCC? We are the ones paying taxes that pay their wages. When is the government going to help us Americans out instead of lining own their pockets.
