The company Embrace Home Loans is real the one with the mailings however is not. They are simply using the Embrace name. Check the number and home info for the actual site and try to match it with any info on the mailing. The real company operates as a finace company shold and does not make random offers or promises. Beware of any mailing or e-mail that offers preapproved monies of any kind without you first asking for or applying for info from that company.

Got the same offer, down to the dollar amount (271, 050) with 3.75%...I almost went for it...BTW, it should be noted that CHIP works for this company, so his replies that not a scam are from an employee!!!

Got a similar packet today with 3.876% rate and 477,000 to borrow. Phone number from Rhode Island and no website within the packet. Embrace Home Loans is only good for two things: sh*t and nothing. It is likely a scam.

Embrace home loans is a joke! They do not call you back to even tell you if a loan has been approved and the underwriter has his thumb up his ass!

I will yell scam, when the loan officer tells you that your taxes for two years comes to a certain amount
that the loan will go through and it does not and he or his boss will not call you back. SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got the same letter...sounds to good to be true...which means it usually is....Mine was mailed from zip 33431 but their address is supposed to be 25 Enterprise Center, Newport RI 02842.  My question, why do they only list a number to call back and not a website???  This is 2012, nobody uses the phone anymore....

I got the same letter and could not find the number in the letter on the website so instead I put in for a quote directly from the website of the real company.

They said they USED to work for them

Please excuse my son Chip as he is and probably always will be a habitual Liar, He lives in a basement apartment with 3 cats and spends all his time on the computer. Again please understand that he has no life and wants to start trouble with people on the internet.

This is the biggest scam....run as fast as you can!  I suggest going to your bank to see if they will give you a loan, if they won't what makes you think these fakes will.  They take your information and you get screwed!

According to the fine print they are Not even licensed in Alabama
so how can they do business here? shredded it and trashed it.

I received the $271,050 pre-qualified letter also. Only there is no way it's real. I have about $500k in medical bills in collection, don't own a home and haven't been able to work in 3 years. I don't even own a car! How could I qualify?

   These websites don't mean anything, anyone can put uip a website for $30.00 and offer you money if yuo devulge your personal info.  I went to reversa a phone number and a report came up with the 800-644-3327 number with 116 complaints

Did you report this to the Better Business Bureau? If your statements are true, you need to report them. From what i've seen they have an A+ with the BBB. I recieved the same letter and right away googled the number and checked w/ the BBB.
