don't call

Been receiving multiple calls each day on my fax line for most of the week.  The first couple of times I said "hello" and I heard a click sound and female say "hello."  As I replied again "hello" the call hung up.  

The next couple of times I picked up and only listened.  A female came on and spoke to me asking to speak with "_____."  I then asked what is this regarding?  She said personal private matter and would not give me any information who's calling my (fax) number.  

The last time with same silent technique when I picked up and female asked to speak with "______" I made some incoherent garble and the female started speaking to me.  Apparently this is HFBC a Hong Kong banking company/Orchard Bank who was looking for "__________" due to some sort of credit card matter.  I told her the phone number called is not "____________'s."  She said she will take the phone number out of the system.  We'll see...........or hear..........

Stop calling please, currently unemployed and have to get back on my feet before I can do anything

Unfortunately if YOU OWE MONEY they have the right to call you no matter what. I'm currently looking into how much is TOO much legally, but often picking up the phone and telling them your situation no matter what it is might slow down the calls. The actual person on the phone calling you is just doing their job, no matter how might feel about the company, and often they are trying to help you, given the current economy many are offering all sorts of financial help. I get just as upset as all of you- that's why I'm here trying to ID who is calling and if it's worth picking up to even tell them I can't pay a dime, or if it's another number for my CAR that I MUST talk to to work with the best I can so that I don't lose the one thing I NEED to get to my TWO jobs that barley cover my car and insurance.

Keep Heart, let these ppl know your situation and maybe some of them will help you our and at least give you some break from the phone calls. Others you may have to say 'f' off, I'm never gonna pay it, I'm filing BK, talk to my attorney (this often stops the calls for a few days at least)

For the last two days they have called 3 times each day, keep asking for someone I have no clue who he is, tell them they have the wrong number and to stop calling, 3 hours later guess who calls.

receives call from 8:00 am untill 9:00 pm.

Has called every day for the past week.  Leaves no message.

Since yesterday I got phone call the number so many time.
I did not take a phone, because I did not this number.
I really feel bad.

I have been receiving non stop calls from this phone number 3-5 times a day for the past 2 weeks. I have no account or card with HSBC and I have attempted to call HSBC and ask to have my number removed from their phone list to no avail.

What can I do next???

Calls are received throughout the day (8AM-9PM). No messages have been left. At times, there is only one ring.

I hate HSBC!!! Even when you’ve paid them off they call and bug you. I will never have another credit card again! The frustrating sales pitches (insurance stuff) and not leaving messages are not worth it.

Have been called over 10 times in the past 3 days. I refuse to answer, but am fed up with this annoying  crap!

unwanted phone calls

these people literallyu called my work and cell phone 32 times in one day .. and continued to harrass my employer when i couldnt answer my cell cause i was at work!! I'm not even allowed personal calls at work.. this is harrassment and i will be reporting them and their comploetely illegal tactics to the attorney general and the fbi internet crimes division at www.ic3.gov
