    I paid off and closed my David's Bridal credit card almost 6 years ago, yet in the last two years they have reported my account as delinquent.  Even worse, it says on my credit report that it has paid off with no activity to it since June of 2004.  Why are they reporting it delinquent???

    I understand HSBC has a hardship program to lower you payments and maybe interest for a few months.
    I lost my job and was out of work november and decemeber, started getting paid again the end of january.
    I am looking into that and also try a site Take charge America I am looking into that also.

    to vador about paying your bill i pay my bills all the tme on time have done so for years i want you to tell what todays date is because i sent out my hsbc payment on tuesday and the due date is 03/16/10 i am no rocket scientist but it is not 03/16 yet at least on my calender only thing i can think of is whatever country they are calling from maybe it is but it is not here and so yes they are scum bags and blood suckers i told them last couple of months straight do not call me until i am late and yet they call every 15 minutes like i am some deadbeat that is not going to pay them so yes it is super annoying and i run my business from my mobile phone so them calling all the time really gets old i would advise people to get away from these crack heads

    HSBC Retail Services for Best Buy, Kawasaki Card, Petland and others.  These people are obnoxious and do not take no for an answer.  Today, they called me at work, I work for attornies, I told them I could not talk due to clients in office.  This person would not take no for an answer and kept me on the line until I hung up on them.  I am tired of them calling buisness phones, cell phones and home phones all day long everyday from 8am till around 10pm.  This company has to be stopped!!!  This is herrassment!!

    These a**holes call me 4 0r 5 times a day.  I don't owe them any money.  I have 1 credit card through another company that is paid on time every month.  My only other loan is my car loan and it's through another company.  I've told them to stop calling but it doesn't work.  Now I just scream in there ear.  The problem is they can't get a job anywhere else and they get their kicks on harrassing people.  I don't understand why they can't be sued for harrassment.  Google FCC, you'll see a link for filing complaints.  I would suggest that everyone do this.  These people need to be put out of business.

    You could have your phone company block the numbers they call with.
    Also to note; with continued calls like that they are breaking section 806 sub paragraph 5 of the Fair Debt Collectors Act.

    Another thing I did with HSBC... I sent a cease and disis(spelling??) order from them calling my phone number and just wanted to be notified by mail. I also sent this as a certified letter so I know they got it. I did put in the letter if they make any phone calls to this number regarding the account I will fine them $1,000.00 per call or the remainder of my account balance.

    it is against the law for any creditors to call before 8 am and after 8 pm... you can tell them that you will report them . and to stop harrassing you.

    They should leave a detailed message explaining why they feel they have to harass someone without reasonable cause.
    This is ridiculous!  If I am late on a payment - just say so!  I'll pay it if you tell me who I owe!

    Get calls from these people all day on my sons Polaris...he was  late one time last month because of his job and the weather...paid all late fees and now they call all the time...and did you know if he only pay's the minimum payment it will take my son 21 years to pay this thing off.They do not care nor understand they way things happen..they are rude and all they want is their money..which is understanable but you catch more flies with honey...

    This is HSBC collections. I called them since we ran out of money to see if they could give us a lower interest rate and they said no. They call from 8 a.m. to 9.p.m. even on sundays. Therefore I am either filing bankruptcy or credit counseling. All of these creditors are jerks they will not work with you if you are sincerely asking for help.

    you might want to recheck again because a family member belived he had a closed end motercycle loan but it turned out to be just a high limit/high intrest credit card account which they eventually sent out a very ossecure looking that doesnt even look like or say its a credit card.they are constantly harrassing me at my number (even though I'm not on the account) as well as the cosigner at all hours of the day and night, EVERY HOUR over 15 times last Sunday. they use THIS number AND a differant number. this # says tool free. when you answer, they will not talk. they just hang up. I Belive this may also constitute harrassment and STALKING!!  and also now when you call it back it says you have to call a "10'-10" long distance # and pay several $$$ per minute!!  the other # says "HSBC retail services" but they will not even tell you who they are calling for. they DEMAND that you give them your account number!!  first of all, I'm not stupid enough to give anyone who calls me any personal info, second of all the various people who reside at this # have a total of about a dozen or more account numbers. and since they refuse to say who they want or what account this is about, I now have resorted to using as many cuss words as possible before they hang up. (next is an air horn)!  Thank-you to all the other writers who have identified this particular "toll free" caller.

    This is a collection agency,the same as 1-800-959-1373.  They never  leave a message,and I am not about to answer the phone only to have someone speak to me rudely! I did not ask for the  circumstance that I am in (diabled) and when I had a little money I could pay, and asked for some help, they said, "If you you woud have asked 4 days ago, we could have, but NOT NOW!". Well, NOW they aren't getting a penny, because I MUST go bankrupt!
