my cell is verizon, and i can block unwanted callers by putting their phone number unto the verizon website for blocked calls.

This number calls about every 2 hrs, 7days a week.  Anywhere from 7am to 9:30 pm I dont know who to report them to, but they should be stopped by someone.  I once answered a call to a very angry person, refusing to identify the company demanding personal information and a payment. I hung up the phone and have not answered it since.

I agree with every post here. They are calling on my sons account he paid off however they still  call all day long. When we answer no one is ever on the other end. You would think they would at least give u the decency to be on the other end of the line since they r the ones calling u!

HSBC retail credit card division calling for a ex in law who has stopped making payments.  They have been calling several times a day for the past 3 months. The ex in law never lived at my address and I never cosigned on any loans. I tried to give them the ex in law's phone number but they refuse to call the number.

I have reported them to my state's consumer credit protection bureau. The CCPB  sent a copy of my complaint asking HSBC to stop calling me and to contact the ex in law. They also fowarded a copy to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currancy. There are laws to protect those who do not pay their bills and not much for those who do.

Calls at least every evening and sometimes more than once.  Calling at 8:45 at night!. Can't be debt collector because we pay bills on time.

Today I have gotten 4 phone calls from this number and I have not answered. I have paid my bill and there is no reason for the calls. I want it stopped immediately!

Called at all times of day, early and into 9:00 PM. No messages, no one answers.So how can I know what they want?  It seems reporting them, makes no difference. There must be a place where reporting them is effective.

listen Vader sometimes you can't just pay the bill ! sometimes you have things happen to you that was not on your control i lost my job, i lost my health , i lost my brother to cancer , my wife divorced me when i got sick , i lost medical insurance, i had excellent credit  i have bills out  my rear end with no income anymore i understand they want the money but they are heartless anbd yes bloodsuckers without a heart

So sick of this number calling!  It always says' 800 Service' on my caller ID.  They call at least twice a day, and very early in the morning.  Something has to be done with these companies.  It's obvious that the "Do not call" list is a bunch of crap.

My mother (lives in Michigan), and is eldery and retired, called me to ask about this number.  I had never heard of it before.  She has no oustanding debts, and lives on a shoe string.  She apparently picked up the calls only to be harrashed for a late mortgage payment....she has no mortgage.  A year later I'M getting calls from this place (California).  They are the rudest people I have ever dealt with!!!Trying to explain to them that they are calling in error is pointless.  They call at least three times a day.  I feel like changing my number I'm so frustrated!

Ive had quite a few calls (too many to count actually) from this # and when I answer, they just hang up on me.  Sometimes as early as 7:30AM my time. They just now called approx 25 min ago and a real humble male voice just said my name and then hung up on me...get a life and grow up....

back in when I'm heading out the door! These people are complete A..holes! It doesn't matter if you are caught up on your payments... they continually harass you! Also, they NEVER leave a message!

We do not owe anyone anything.  Of the 50 to 100 phone calls they have called and never left a message, I fianally answered one.  Upon my answer, I was asked for some name I was not familair with.  Immediately upon my inquesitive answer "who, not here",  he immediately hung up.  I had no chance to further question him about who he was wanting to talk to.  Then there has been another 10 to 20 calls since then.  What jerks.  Either answer, quit calling or write a letter.  Seems like they are NOT legitimate.  
On caller ID its identified "Not Provided".

I do have an HSBC Bowflex payment that is due, however if you are trying to collect a debt leaving a message would be good or when I answer don't hang up on me.  I believe that falls under the guide of harrassment so stop or I'm sueing you and won't have to pay my debt

Did HSBC respond to your letter?  This number has been calling me on my cell phone number at a minimum of 7 times a day and for the past year!  I just found this site and am glad I did!  
Did the phone calls stop?  Did they come through with any money for you for breaking the Fair Debt Collectors Act?

Is disconnecting the phone, getting an unlisted number or a new number the only way to get rid of these calls?
Has anyone out there submitted this to lawyers as a "class action suit"?  This fraud scam is illegal!
