- priscilla09HSCB calls my house at the lease 15 to 17 times a day, and they override your voicemail so that your phone will ring on and on past the 5 rings you have set up on your voicemail. I tried talking to these people 2 times and they are not interested in talking about ANYTHING other than when you are going to pay them and how much, there is no other discussions, no working out any payments. I was to9ld that this card could lower my interest over time and build up my credit (uh), not only did they not lower my interest after 2 years of never being late, they also caused me to have a bad credit on me now. When I tried to explain my situation they talked over me while I was talking. They are the rudest business I have ever dealt with in my life. When they first called me 2 years ago, they asked me what could I pay ever month, I said $25.00 per month, then they said "well that is not acceptable", I told them "well then I guess I won't be speakikng with you anymore". I meant what I said to. I never answer their calls. They will even call you from their own cell phones at 8:59 PM everynight, you can hear their kids in the background and the t.v. They were so nasty to me I will never bother with them again and they can just keep calling for 2 more years for all I care. And this is all over a $300.00 limit charge card.

- Mrn replies to VaderVader, you should know circumstances before making such broad and rude statements. I've had to return a leased car that I had for less than four months because I SUDDENLY became totally disabled. I did this voluntarily (rather than repossession) because I knew that I was not able to continue payments. Prior to my disability I made over $80K and now on disability am barely able to pay bills that are necessary for living. It is very difficult to deal with my disability while handling constant bill collection calls several times a day from the one collector I have.

- DaveCalling Cell phone and home phone at all hours needs to stop
- TD replies to Keith WatsonHSBC does this as a matter of policy. They assess late charges even if the payments are made in well in advance and for more than the amount due. No telling why they think they can get away with this. I think they are ripe for a large class action. They also refuse to move the due date citing federal law, but it does not appear to be true that federal law prevents HSBC from changing due dates at the consumer's request. It's only true that they may not arbitrarily change the due date themselves.
- justfedup replies to emilyThey are awful to deal with if you can ever get a real live person. They call anywhere from 5 to 10 times a day and even if you finally did get a live person to talk to, they'll call an hour later and start phone calls all over again. In one months time my interest rates went from 7.99% to 25.9% and my payments tripled. They are doing it to everyone and now they wonder why so many people can't keep up with their payments. Anyone who is dealing with them, please pay them off and do not deal with them again. Anyone who is thinking about dealing with this bank.....DON'T!!!!!!
- justfedup replies to BeckyThe same happens to me. There's never anyone there, but you can hear office noise in the background. They start calling @ 8AM until about 8:30PM. I'm ready to throw my phone out the window. It's just nice to know that I'm not the only person that this is happening to, not that I want anyone else to have to go through this crap.
- 31CI was getting soo many of those robo calls I ultimately changed my home phone number. It is free to do so. I HIGHLY recommend if your phone situation is out of control, get a new number and unlist it. It stays hassle-free for about one year. IPEACE!! I did this and I'm just now starting to get robo calls. When it gets above a certain level, I will change my number again.
- 31C replies to Doreen DiCarlo| 2 repliesCHANGE your phone number and unlist it!!!! You can even disconnect your phone service for a while and just go for a few months with a Pay as You go cell phone. Do it if you want some peace!

- OuchMyWalletHurtsGlad to know I'm not the only one being ripped off. I made my payment yesterday 4 days late, so that is probably why they are blowing up my phone today. I only got a Best Buy card so that I could afford a laptop for college, but I'm starting to see the light...dammit.
